Image-Line FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle

Image-Line FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle

FL Studio 21 doesn’t really need an introduction. Image-Line kindly offers the FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle as the prize, an all-in-one music production suite packed with virtual instruments, effects, and lifetime free updates.

There are simply too many features to cover in a couple of paragraphs. Still, some of my favorite FL Studio 21 assets are the Slicex sample editor, the Newtime time manipulation tool, and the incredibly versatile Gross Beat multi-effect.

You also get FL Studio’s new AI-powered stem separation functionality, one of the best step sequencers on the market, and an entire suite of FL Studio effects for mixing and mastering.

The latest FL Studio 21 version introduced several new effects, including the LuxeVerb reverb plugin and the Vintage Phaser effect.

On a related note, Image-Line recently launched the Year-End Sale with a sitewide 25% OFF discount on all products and bundles.

Ujam Usynth Bundle

Ujam Usynth Bundle

The Usynth Bundle is a versatile collection of virtual instruments, covering everything from chiptune sounds to vintage analog synths and beyond.

Ujam is famous for its performance-oriented take on virtual instruments and effects. The company specializes in creating intuitive and playable plugins that sound absolutely incredible out of the box.

The Usynth Bundle is no exception, packing seven virtual instruments with over 700 presets for genres like pop, electronic music, ambient synthwave, and more.

If you like instruments that don’t require a lot of tweaking to sound good, the Ujam Usynth lineup is the perfect pick. Ujam kindly provided three Usynth Bundle licenses for three lucky BPB readers.

Ujam is also running a sale on various plugin collections, including an epic 87% OFF deal on the LoFi Bundle.

Cableguys ShaperBox + ReverbShaper

Cableguys ReverbShaper

One lucky winner will get the Cableguys ShaperBox bundle, and two winners will get the ReverbShaper plugin.

ShaperBox is the flagship modulation powerhouse from Cableguys. It combines ten versatile effects into one interface with insane modulation features.

The modulation capabilities are seemingly endless with ShaperBox. You get drawable LFO waveforms, envelope followers, and a 3-band multiband for each effect, letting you create dynamic rhythmic effects, solve complex mix problems, and enhance your music creatively.

ReverbShaper is a standalone reverb plugin with Cableguys’ signature modulation capabilities. You can add movement to almost every reverb parameter using highly customizable LFOs and custom waveforms.

Cableguys also announced the Winter Sale is also now on!

The ShaperBox 3 Bundle, which contains the new ReverbShaper and nine additional effects worth $340, is only $89 during the sale.

Techivation M-Compressor

Techivation M-Compressor

Techivation offers the M-Compressor ($149) plugin to one lucky BPB reader.

M-Compressor is a sophisticated spectral audio compressor that offers downward and upward compression, targeting individual frequencies rather than the overall signal level.

This approach allows for distortion-free dynamic processing, with dynamic thresholds that balance compression across the spectrum, enhancing ambiance and achieving more aggressive compression effects if needed.

Techivation also launched the Holiday Sale, with a 70% discount on the Full Bundle and 40% off select individual plugins.

Polyverse Supermodal

Polyverse Supermodal

Polyverse offers one lucky winner a Supermodal ($99 value) filter plugin license.

Supermodal is a versatile filter-based multi-effect plugin for electronic music producers and sound designers.

It features a twin-filter engine with a standard state-variable filter that morphs between high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass modes. The standout feature is the unique ‘modal’ filter that filters audio through resonances, mimicking various struck or vibrated objects.

Supermodal also boasts an advanced modulation system, occupying the lower half of the GUI, where every parameter of both filter engines can be automated or modulated.

The robust modulation engine offers four modulation slots, six modulation sources (including ADSR, Sequencer, and Random), and stereo operation possibilities, allowing dynamic sound shaping.

Polyverse also launched the Winter Sale with up to 30% discounts on individual plugins and bundles. Supermodal is on sale for $69, and the all-in-one bundle is currently $349, down from $544.

Karanyi Sounds Cloudmax and Midnite

Karanyi Cloudmax

Karanyi Sounds offers the Cloudmax reverb plugin and Midnite hybrid guitar instrument to two lucky winners (one prize per winner).

Midnite is a versatile virtual instrument featuring a 5-module multi-layer engine, analog-modeled effects, and a randomizer. It was designed to create rich atmospheres, leads, and complex pulses, making it perfect for electronic music and cinematic sound design.

Cloudmax is a unique reverb-based “Texture Resonator” audio plugin. It combines a dual granular engine, reverb, tape emulation, filter, and EQ into one unit, offering over 110 presets and smart randomization features.

Karanyi Sounds also launched the December Deals sale with up to 86% off in discounts on plugins and bundles. You can also get Vapor Dimension and Technocolor for free if you purchase Midnite.

AudioThing Reels

AudioThing Reels Review

AudioThing offers the Reels plugin to one lucky BPB reader.

Reels emulates a distressed Japanese quarter-inch reel-to-reel tape recorder, offering a unique, grungy distortion and signal-mangling processor rather than a typical tape simulation.

AudioThing’s tape saturator is a unique tape emulation plugin offering more than just the traditional tape sound, with features like tape delay, stop simulation, and other creative effects.

Reels is one of my go-to tape plugins because I love its ability to subtly color music and bring cohesiveness to tracks. It also includes different tape types and saturation adjustment controls, so it’s easy to customize the tape saturation to fit your project perfectly.

Read more in our AudioThing Reels review.

A Sound Effect Packs

A Sound Effect

A Sound Effect offers two custom packs sourced from Slava Pogorelsky’s Complete Bundle.

The first pack delivers 30+ premium electromagnetic sound effects, perfect for creative sound design and experiments.

The second pack brings the winner a number of glass sound effects, from crunching, scratching, and scraping to tonal textures, glass movement sounds, and more.

A Sound Effect is currently running a sale with up to 92% off sound libraries, plugins, and virtual instruments.

Flame Sound Firestarter SFX

Firestarter SFX by Flame Sound

Lastly, I offer the Firestarter SFX trailer sound library by Flame Sound (my sound design label) to six lucky winners!

It’s a collection of cinematic sound effects like impacts, braams, tension, builders, booms, and more. You can use it for cinematic projects, but it also works for layering and adding tension to electronic music.

You’ll get 250 royalty-free sounds in 24-bit WAV quality. The Complete edition also includes cool bonuses like the Heatwave soundscape collection and royalty-free field recordings.

Check out the trailer below to hear some of the included sounds.

    • I am almost prepared for my workflow now, so I will be mixing Dolby Atmos songs now!
Got lot of knowledge from here, so I am happy now to make more of my desired songs and masters!
      Thanks BPB for your help!

I will finally make more songs this year, since I bought such a lot of stuff to record and mix my music thanks to bpb

  1. Hi Tomislav, thanks so much for this site!
I personnally will integrate a songwriting session (or songwriting practicing) at least once a week in my guitar practice schedule. I had always got a few ideas for songwriting that I never even tried, but also got found a few useful resources on the web, Regular practice and the tips in the pdfs will help me to write more songs and finish more!

    • Create a set of a few templates to speed up my song finishing process. Use AI and/or send the songs to online mastering services. Upload the finished product to a few audio sites for the world to hear.

  2. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

I already started the strategy and will upgrade it; I am working on building the album itself, beyond making songs and messing around. I have a plan on how the album will sound, what will be the visual style that will go with it, the general meaning and ambiance of the project, EVERYTHING. So with that, I get a direction I want to go towards. This sets a goal and the path comes naturally because of it.

  3. I just gonna do it step by step! This the year.

The biggest step for me is to work simple but effective with the song I have in front of me and not start new projects all the time. And then I need a music project alias to box in the project, like a statement, a frame to my art.

I gonna have fun and take it easy.

Make some music guys! You can do it! Good luck everyone!

  4. I just gonna do it step by step! This the year.

I gonna have fun and take it easy.

Lets finnish some tracks! You can do it! Good luck everyone!

  5. To finish songs more in 2024 I’m going to commit to actually finishing what I started. Gone are the days of me just writing a guitar lick or a melody on the keys, or one line of a chorus. When I sit down and try to write or when inspiration strikes me and I get down the melody in my head, the baseline, the lyric, any part of a song that comes to me, I’m going to continue with that idea as far as I can in that moment. No matter how dumb that annoying self doubt voice in my head tells me it is. Or how silly I feel because it isn’t the genre I want people to perceive me as, or whatever genre that comes out. I’m going to commit and write that song that day or as much as I can that day/session and I will put it on my Soundcloud at the very least and if it comes out sounding nice I’ll even go the next step and promote it on all my social. But the main idea is to commit to what comes out, enjoy the process, and stop preventing myself from achieving greatness and what I know I can. Also I’m going to collab more and stop being so anti-social lol. Peace and love to you all and thanks for doing this giveaway!

  6. I’m going to write down all of the beats/songs I need to finish and go through them to see what needs to be done. Then just start checking them off the list as I complete them. I think actually writing it down and making a list will make me hold myself more accountable to getting songs done for release.

  7. I’m going to be more consistent where it comes to spending time in the studio dnd make sure to be focused 100% during that moments. Everything else apart from my daw shoukd be turned off

    • I think I’ve been pretty consistent, working more on the engineering part.
This year buying equipment that artists need to record.

dedicar mas tiempo para aprender teoría musical y a la vez practicar muchísimo, de esa forma podría plasmar mucho mejor las ideas a la hora de producir algún tema.

Last month I purchased Arturia V Collection 9 and Pigments 4 and now I have to devote my time to becoming more familiar with this vast instrument library and I’m sure the songs will eventually come along for the ride.

  10. Do not pay too much attention to sound details during creation process. Simply saying, I need to accept more than usually

  11. Spreadsheet checklist approach is the way! One row for each instrument, columns designating progress status, like ‘conceptualized’, ‘draft’, ‘recorded’, ‘mixed’.

  12. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

I will finish my tutorial and stick to the advise: I do not need more plug-ins, I need more skills.

  13. 1.Focus on production more than my 9-5 job
2.Sort my samples and plugins(Quality over Quantity)
3.Set a goal and deadline per project
4.Take breaks during sessions,Drink water,Refresh my mind and repeat

    • Settin up deadlines would be a good idea for me as well. I often start on projects but then will go to another new one and forgettin the previous project. Outside of that, I wanna make sure I get to a higher lvl in my production. I really wanna get a full comprehension of mixinand masterin, as well as understandin frequencies. Still been strugglin with gettin my sounds to come out the way I want them to.

  14. Christopher Fielding

I plan on finishing sequencing all my drum parts. I hate playing to a metronome. I live rurally so I don’t have access to any drummers so I do all my drum parts. I like doing those first and then recording the rest of the parts. If I can get the drums done, that will be the biggest step in getting the rest of the song done.

  15. The steps I’d take is to improve in being consistent. As having a full-time job and doing music while it’s very busy, I have to make sure I have a process where I can have some progress even if it’s just a little each and every day. And to be 1% better everyday.

  16. I’ll try to limit the number of VST plugins in my arsenal, it’s just a case where “more” doesn’t mean “better”, I think.

  17. Finish work at day job earlier. Jam a lot and save the results. Do not consider new gear and focus on using what I have. Work with a limited set of tools for a long period of time.

  18. Step to step guide to make a lot of cool songs in the new coming year of 2024

    1. Focus on mastering one single plugin of sound design like Vital, Serum, Phaze Plant, etc
    2. Make templates in plugin of catchy sound you like for the music genre you are matching
    3. Eq Mid Side, Compress, Preamp and Reverb to put space in every instrument
    4. Make Template of the arrangement and the music composition
    5. FX and Automation in every instrument
    6. Mix and Mastering with a reference track to match volume and gain levels and feel of the track
    7. Post in SoundCloud to receive feedback from the people to improve the quality of the track

Rise and Conquer your Dreams :)

  19. To finish more songs in 2024, I think I need to let go of some perfectionistic tendencies. I tend to spend too much time fiddling with very small decisions during the writing stage that ultimately won’t make much difference in the overall sound of a track. I should instead shift my focus as soon as I reach a “good enough” point on whichever part I’m working on. After all, it’s more important to complete the overall vision of the song and not let myself get carried away with small things! The small things can come at the end after the whole song has taken shape.

Thanks for the opportunity to win, and happy 2024 to all :)

  20. To achieve my goal in 2024 I am going to spend 1 month doing field recordings, 1 month composing, and 1 month mixing. I should be able to finish my whole album in 3 months!

  21. Most definitely I’ll be experiencing even more raw emotions and getting out some life experiences, so I can portray them through the power of music.

  22. I always find finishing songs to a high quality, ready for release is never easy, involves multiple key stages and takes far too long. In 2024 I will be focusing more on collabs and helping others achieve their goals. I enjoy being a team player and working with talented musicians/producers as it helps to keep me motivated.

  23. i will start using more field recording of nature to make my ambient track more natural :-)
Make every week more time to compose
try to will be more productive .-)

  24. I’m planning to write new songs primarily on acoustic guitar limiting my options, continue to downsize my synth studio, and to finish songs already recorded and in progress, focus on releasing singles without a care or pretense instead of trying to crank out involved album projects and sending demos to labels that never respond!

  25. Honestly the main thing I need to do to finish more songs is to let them be finished! It can be difficult to let a mix go when it always feels like things could be changed or tweaked that much more, always searching for the perfect sound. With clients, sometimes it is easier as they usually have a goal or sound in mind to work toward and their feedback is vital to the process. When it comes to my own productions, I have a tendency to want to keep working on them indefinitely, well past when the song could be considered “finished”. To achieve my goal, I will look for feedback from more people instead of relying on my ear alone.

  26. I will try to spend time everyday being productive with writing, playing/performing and recording/mixing/mastering songs. I will also be less perfectionist and overthinking and just get on with it. Thanks for the op

  27. I will stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and holding myself back from releasing music that is not “good enough” just because it is different.

  28. I will bring myself to start the day by opening my DAW, working even if it’s a tiny advancement. And not feel guilty during the resting days

  29. To finish more songs in 2024, I will learn how to use my plugins on a deeper level and actually start using them the way they are supposed to be used.

instead of searching for the perfect instrument preset to use, I can start making my own for each track or tweak current presents to fit better. the main thing is to learn what plugins/sounds are appropriate in what area of production so that I’m not spending hours trying to find a sound to add.

  30. I will have a listen to my back catalog. Evaluate what remains relevant. Avoid what’s irrelevant when going forward in 2024.

  31. I would stop overthinking about things and simply go with the flow. I would also get up earlier to have more time to create/produce my music, and I will limit my social media/phone usage and other useless activties that will take up time.I will make music a priority in my life and really focus on what needs to be done.

  32. Create a template and use quality plugins. Stop distractions especially freebie distractions and set dates to finish songs! Focus!!!!!!

  33. Buzwan Handsome

1.- Tell my boss that I need him to respect my work schedule so I can have time to finish my tracks.
2.- Establish at least a daily hour to lock me in my home studio without any disturbance.
3.- Have installed few but effective plugins, to save time in searching for the “correct one”.
4.- Do a checklist of the things that each track needs to be addressed in.

  34. – Dedicating more time and having a better schedule.

    – Trying to get myself in a healthier mental state so I can focus more when working on music.

    – Trying to put out more music in 2024

Good luck everyone and have a good new year :)

  35. The steps I will take to finish more songs in 2024 are: plan my time to dedicate 4 hours a day to experimentation, then take the good and complement it with songwriting. From then on, use all the free plugins that I have obtained through this magnificent website and launch it. thank you

  36. Music isn’t only created inside 4 walls or a studio. I’m gonna venture to more spaces and let ideas flow through me and into the songs.

  37. It’s simple!
First of all, I’ll plan my 24H into several plans; like piano practice, analyze others music, singing practice etc.
Next, I’ll follow that plan everyday tlll 2024 ends!

  38. I intend to let go of my inner critic and develop songs further than I usually do before deciding to keep them or let them go. I also look forward to setting up a new orchestral template for video/game études and, hopefully, gigs. I’ve started prep work on two ambient and synthwave albums, so I plan to finish and upload them onto Bandcamp sometime in 2024.

  39. I’ll be using an organizational strategy: allocate specific times and set deadlines for finishing some of the 277349 projects I started. And by some I mean a specific amount, like 10. That’s what we used to call a record, right?

  40. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

Its easy! If I stop gaming bro, its eating my time!

    Peace!

    Blaise

  41. Thank you Tomislav for the blog!
I’ll try to get a better understanding of harmony, which should speed up the process of writing and finishing songs.

  42. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

To stop allowing myself to be distracted by new seeds of ideas, which if they’re good enough I will remember them, and to complete the 20 or so half started tracks already on my DAW.

  43. Set aside some time each day to finish a song. Even if it means just sitting there and nothing gets done that day. Work on the same song until moving on to the next.

  44. I’ll try to be productive within the creative phase as long as possible, leaving the fine tuning aside. Good luck to all, peace and happy music making!

  45. 1. Have a nice little talk with myself
    2. Lock myself in and throw away the key
    3. Drink more smoke more

    which should I choose? ……

  46. The steps I will take to finish more songs in 2024 is to organise all my work in progress songs into 2 folders.
Songs that are worth finishing and the core idea is good and songs that are probably a waste of time and should be deleted but i can’t commit because maybe one day the idea will be good and i can finish them.

  47. Accountability and forced deadlines. Making clear promises to people, and agreeing a set deadline, to give the sense of urgency to push me to start and finish more projects. Thanks to this, 2024 is going to be a big year.

  48. I am just going to do better, make better music, make clearer mixes for all my tracks ,strive for better social media engagement…just get my name/brand out there. This year gave me a great learning experience and I will apply all that I have learnt in the new year and add more information to what i have now.

I will do better because I can be better especially with all that help I get along the way, from groups like these(bedroom producers) to the ones closer to home and thanks your push/help is greatly appreciated.

  49. Something I’ve been putting off is I have a couple hundred mishmash project folders to sift through and organize their priority (a complete nightmare!). To finish more songs in 2024 I’m going to upgrade my SSD processing power to navigate, open and close these projects at a more manageable speed.

  50. I’m going to stick to one genre, one daw and stop judging my music against other people. By virtue of this by the end of 2024 my hard drive will no longer be full of “one day I’ll finish it” songs

  51. The goal is to get all the tools/apps/software/sample libraries updated and organized then carve out time for both “play” and reading to bring life back in balance. I will not likely revive any old unfinished projects. Ideally a fresh start will take me somewhere new.

  52. i will finish more songs in 2024 by submitting beats in the producers corner weekly sample challenge contest. I will record more automation/ track mutes/ filter sweeps etc to polish arrangements to make my tracks sound more dynamic. thanks for the giveaway contest opportunity. pick me, and have a happy new year!

  53. I intend to embark on a “Vision Quest” and visit the following iconoclasts of recording history:

    Sun Studios in Memphis
    Abbey Road Studios in London
    Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin
    Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia
Electric Lady Studios in New York City
Ocean Way Recording Studios in Los Angeles
    Blackbird Studio in Nashville
    Bearsville Studios in Woodstock
Sound City Recording Studio in Los Angeles
    Motown Studio in Detroit

I will raise a toast to each, pray for spiritual enlightenment, and then use the awesome suite of VSTs from this amazing giveaway to create a songs that Neil Peart, Eddie VanHalen, and Chris Cornell will rock to in Heaven.

  54. I’m going to collaborate with more artists to finish more songs! Introducing new ideas through in-person meetups and online creation.

  55. I’m going to make more music in 2024, I kept my promise to myself and will be releasing my first new song in Jan, which technically will be 2024, so I’m STOKED!! But having another release mid-year is now a priority for me :)

  56. My struggle to finish more music comes down to letting my Ego get in the way. Always trying to make the best track ever, the best, hit, without even starting.

In 2024 I’ll try to let go of ego when creating music. Enjoying the process, let the music and ideas flow without being too judgmental.

Happy new year everyone and happy music making!!!

  57. Hi Tomislav, thanks for the site! I’ll be adding a weekly songwriting session to my guitar practice routine. With your resources and tips, I hope to write and finish more songs through regular practice. Appreciate it!

  58. I have not too much projects to work. But I believe that hard working can help me in 2024 if I will get a workload. As I’m reaper’s free demo version user, I often check your website to get more free and useful stuff. Thanks a lot for everything.

  59. Q: What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?
A: i will finally learn to mix and master proper with an enrollment in Mastering.com’s TRE (The Reverse Engineer Program) and get like all professionally jiggy with it and all that when it comes to music production. That’s right. i said it. and it will come true, too. thank You.

may You all ride the eternal wind with glory and purpose! 🤘🏽

  60. Hootan Farzadpour

Thank you Miroslav and all BPB friends and wish you all the bests in the new year!

I will spend more time recording and editing my records within FL Studio, limit myself to FL Studio diverse capabilities and some other more effective plugins, and will be less obsessive with mixing during recording and production stages.

  61. Definitely planning to collaborate more with local musicians in 2024. Working on songs all by myself too often leads to unfinished pieces of music due to lack of inspiration or loosing focus and noodling around.

  62. i know i have to thin out my samples and vst’s to get rid of the ancient ghosts of inspiration, and stop trying to follow trends and be me.
use the instruments i have the most skills on and get back into using midi for drums mainly, (which i do anyway) rather than downloading ready made midi riffs which usually make me lazy and i’m not happy with, but too lazy to do it properly.
it’s all about using my free time better.
thanks for all the useful things on this site and happy new year!

  63. Only one: actually **** release them. I’ve been sitting on 98%-finished tracks for years and only adding to the pile. 2024 will be the year! It has to be, 2025+ music will mostly be AI, so, yeah, about time :D

  64. Hello everybody! What I decided to do, related to your question, and this not only for the next year, but for the rest of my life, is that, first of all, I will be even more honest with myself as I am, in order to become even more hardworking as I am, (in everything I undertake every day to ensure my existence from all kinds of activities that have nothing to do with music, but which unfortunately I still have to perform) to earn and allocate additional time to my musical concerns, which, in addition to melodic creation, also means many other experiments that I carry out in order to obtain the best possible sound standard, even if I don’t have a very high-performance DAW, even if I don’t have of high quality synthesizers and processors, and even if I live alone and I’m already 60 years old. Yes I know! I come very late in this area. It’s not my fault…

  65. Joseph Acampora jr

    on

I will try to spend more time in the studio with my partner. We need to continue to prep for all the new beats we intend to complete together. This will allow us to finish more music in 2024!

  66. Robson H S Souza

    on

In 2024, I will do the complete process of my songs, and I won’t just focus on planning. The mantra will be, do the best with what I have!

  67. There won’t be many steps, but I would like to commit to this single one: every single day of 2024 to produce and work on my producing skills at least 30 minutes per day. That’s my statement!

  68. What steps will I take to finish more songs in 2024? Less time on social media, more time with my instruments and gear! Having a recording schedule every day and showing up. Setting goals and milestones, and creating a plan to achieve them.

To finish more songs in 2024, I will listen to music every day to inspire myself, activate the crossfade on Spotify to keep me in the groove and always stay tuned to BPB to follow all the tips.

  70. What steps will I take to finish more songs in 2024?

I’ll collaborate with more artists, helping them to finish off their songs, and work on the arrangements / instrumentation with them.

I also plan to make more time to finish off some of the solo songs I started in 2023, by saying “No!” to projects / offers that don’t give me good vibes.

    Cheers!

  71. I will be mixing four projects next year.
    1. buy a white board to visually write my goals
    2. put more effort into promoting my songs
    3 finally, practice

  72. First I would have to set a deadline for the projects, I feel that by not doing so I leave some details for later and the project gets lost among the ideas. Another thing would be to accept that not everything has to be perfect, and thus stop getting engrossed in a single project for months.

  73. For sure, using templates, and then organizing my sounds, these are the two main points I’ll improve to finish my songs in 2024!

  74. -Taking production lessons from professionals
-Bounce stuff to audio more often
    -Separate sound design and songwriting

    Thx for the giveaway guys!

  75. “I can’t never stop workin’ hard
Each day I feel I have to improve
    Hard work
    Determination
I’ve got to keep pushing myself

I can’t never stop workin’ hard

I’ve got to keep pushing myself”

    Jump man lyrics – Buckethead

  76. In order to finish more songs, i will adopt a “one in one out” policy. I cannot start a new tune until i finish an old one

  77. Music always speaks something and what can I do for my music is to be consistent and to be true to my music. I’m gonna finish more & more projects this year.
Well thank you BPB you always helped.

  78. Music always speaks something and what can I do for my music is to be consistent and to be true to my music. Im gonna finish more & more projects this year and of course thank you bpb you always help

  79. To make more music, I will organize my non-music commitments better. I am going to use templates and smaller devices to more music in. Finally I am going to continue to enjoy making music.

  80. I will organize my life better. I will be making music on smaller easier devices. I will be limiting my distractions. Ensuring I have wfun wile doing it.

  81. 1. I will set aside at least an hour to work on it no matter how busy I am.
    2. I will do more “focus listening” to train my ears
    3. I will listen to a various genres of music, not only the type I like

  82. In order to finish more songs in 2024, firstly I’m going to designate a set amount of time to work on music, probably something like at least 7 hours per week. Secondly to limit the amount of songs I’m working on at once to 3, as I tend to start other ideas before I finish projects I’ve already started. And lastly try to commit to writing a full rough sketch of a song out on physical instruments before recording or translating to virtual instruments in my DAW.

  83. thank you for this amazing opportunity. I’ll have to create a template on my daw in order to get a head start and don’t get lost in the little things!

  84. thank you for this amazing opportunity. I’ll have to create a template on my daw (live 11) in order to get a head start and don’t get lost in the little things! starting a new project is always the worst part to me…

  85. I will try pushing myself to make decisions about songs edits to get faster to final version for public release.
    (= to make decisions)

  86. I will set deadlines and stick to them, no matter what! even if that means releasing something that is not perfect for me. Having finished tracks is more important then having unfinished “perect” project

  87. I will start the year with collecting phrases and feelings I want to use and evoke in my songs on a daily basis.
Additionally I will set a better schedule for me to make music and produce songs

  88. To finish more songs in 2024 i will get rid of all my non esentials and will set apart some time everyday to finish each song even if its not as good as id like to.
ii’ve heard that constraints make you creative. so ill put that to the test.

  89. Settin up deadlines would be a good idea for me. I often start on projects but then will go to another new one and forgettin the previous project. Outside of that, I wanna make sure I get to a higher lvl in my production. I really wanna get a full comprehension of mixin and masterin, as well as understandin frequencies. Still been strugglin with gettin my sounds to come out the way I want them to.

  90. I’ve got daily music making time blocked out on my calendar and I recently organized all my project files by production stage. I’m prioritizing which tracks to finish in which order, and then moving down the list!

  91. I’m going to schedule time in my calendar for production! Get more serious about it, rather than just doing it when I have spare time. Looking forward to a productive 2024!!

  92. I think will probably go over pieces that I started in 2024 and flesh them out since I have probably 20+ tracks that I started and never finished this year

  93. I have spent a lot of time watching videos and reading tutorials. My head was really full of it and it made me quite tired and demotivated. It wasn’t until one evening that I grabbed an external sampler, threw on a beat and started twisting the knobs. And I found that the best way is to have constant and live contact with the tools. Try and play. And above all to be happy about it. That’s my way to productivity 2024. Have fun with it, but also have a certain system.

Finishing tracks is one of my biggest struggles.
I will try to be more aware of what i am doing in the project and be more ruthless with decision making and moving on.
I will try not getting too much emotions involved and judge the project too early.
Rather than thinking “oh how will it sound to others” or whatever nonsense the mind comes up with at that moment of producing, i will just pay attention to what needs to be done at that moment.
Instead of getting meticulous with just 4 bars of idea I will try to just lay the whole track as fast as possible and then later work on details.
Overall i will try to be more conscious of what i want and what i actually wanna do in the project.

  95. I’m going to finish the production course I’m taking and start putting it into practice even more, doing some covers and finally putting into practice producing my own songs.

  96. I’ll invest more on real focus, organization, a stronger mentality and letting go of the ego. Many thanks for the chance and Happy new year everyone. Peace!

I think I’ll start with an action plan based on:
*Daily tasks of music production, including open the Daw, ear training or instrument practice.
*Writting in a journal about my daily progress, doubts and issues.
*Use resources for the mix and master process like books, videos, social media groups/forums.

And at least but not less, to start everyday again, the most important thing is to take action and get up from the bed.
    Happy new year!!! Good luck.

  98. The steps I will take is advice someone told me, sometimes you got to let things go and move onto the next thing. Simple as that.

Best of luck everyone, have a rockin hip hoppin always poppin be boppin new years! :)

  99. 1. I will make a calendar and stick to it.
    2. I’ll Try to make it simple and clean.
    3. Try to select rich sound samples in terms of quality.
    4. I’ll do a single project in a single time.
    5. No more mess.
    6. I’ll try to listen more & more good music.
And I know i will do it.

For me, I think I’ll need a change of game plan. Finish the song even if I don’t like it. What’s important is to build the habit of finishing tracks. The rest will follow.

    Happy new year, everyone!

    • I will schedule 3 types of session:
Planning: make templates, listen to inspiring music, plan each song’s structure and elements
Playing: deep learning on my existing plugins and instruments, and experimenting without a plan
Creating: making songs using it’s plan and the creative tricks I’ve learned

  101. * Take a break from acquiring new audio plugins and learn the ones I already have.

    * Sketch an idea around a loop, remove the loop and write the main part of the track based solely on that idea

    * Try to recreate the basic structure of a favourite track

    * Find presets/samples/sounds that works well together early on

    * Go back to old sessions and try applying new ideas/processes from recent sessions

  102. 1. Use more templates to quickly sketch out ideas when they pop up.
    2. Have fixed times when to solely focus on music work.
    3. Finish more…

  103. Happy New Year to all & thanks T & all at BPB
I am going to try not to be too self critical or be a perfectionist and not over complicate my ideas for music, keep it simple 💛😊👍

  104. Showing more work in progress to people and ask their opinion instead of saving drafts and never look at it again.

Hi Tomislav & the BPB crew.

My goal in order to maximize my workflow is to go from Reason 10, Studio One 4 Professional and Windows 10 to complete mastery of Reaper 7 and Linux instead of jumping back and forth all the time, and also create my own custom theme for Reaper 7 with my own (non-AI-generated) artwork, so that the whole process feels more me instead of corporate.
I also want to exclusively support the music software and hardware brands that support Linux and DRM-free software, and in the process slowly but steadily move away from all of my paid plugins with DRM from companies with constant EULA revisions, forced telemetry and always/regular online activations with CPU intensive and power consuming background processes that runs in my OS, and also means a higher electric bill.

In the long run I only want to use freeware, donationware and paid plugins that doesn’t use DRM that requires online activation, or at least with the option for a one-time offline activation method, or preferably plugins that use no DRM at all.

I also want to design both my own physical EPs, and later album, cover and booklet with a classic jewel case with my own artwork in order to get the full nostalgic experience like the ones I remember from my childhood and teenage years before the steadily growing digitalization of every music, movie, game and book mediums in the mainstream.

Anyway that’s my 2024 goal, and good luck to all of the participants of the giveaway, and thanks for a great and highly informative music software website, and the great BPB plugins!

    Best regards
    Richard
