Image-Line FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle

Image-Line FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle

FL Studio 21 doesn’t really need an introduction. Image-Line kindly offers the FL Studio 21 Signature Bundle as the prize, an all-in-one music production suite packed with virtual instruments, effects, and lifetime free updates.

There are simply too many features to cover in a couple of paragraphs. Still, some of my favorite FL Studio 21 assets are the Slicex sample editor, the Newtime time manipulation tool, and the incredibly versatile Gross Beat multi-effect.

You also get FL Studio’s new AI-powered stem separation functionality, one of the best step sequencers on the market, and an entire suite of FL Studio effects for mixing and mastering.

The latest FL Studio 21 version introduced several new effects, including the LuxeVerb reverb plugin and the Vintage Phaser effect.

On a related note, Image-Line recently launched the Year-End Sale with a sitewide 25% OFF discount on all products and bundles.

Ujam Usynth Bundle

Ujam Usynth Bundle

The Usynth Bundle is a versatile collection of virtual instruments, covering everything from chiptune sounds to vintage analog synths and beyond.

Ujam is famous for its performance-oriented take on virtual instruments and effects. The company specializes in creating intuitive and playable plugins that sound absolutely incredible out of the box.

The Usynth Bundle is no exception, packing seven virtual instruments with over 700 presets for genres like pop, electronic music, ambient synthwave, and more.

If you like instruments that don’t require a lot of tweaking to sound good, the Ujam Usynth lineup is the perfect pick. Ujam kindly provided three Usynth Bundle licenses for three lucky BPB readers.

Ujam is also running a sale on various plugin collections, including an epic 87% OFF deal on the LoFi Bundle.

Cableguys ShaperBox + ReverbShaper

Cableguys ReverbShaper

One lucky winner will get the Cableguys ShaperBox bundle, and two winners will get the ReverbShaper plugin.

ShaperBox is the flagship modulation powerhouse from Cableguys. It combines ten versatile effects into one interface with insane modulation features.

The modulation capabilities are seemingly endless with ShaperBox. You get drawable LFO waveforms, envelope followers, and a 3-band multiband for each effect, letting you create dynamic rhythmic effects, solve complex mix problems, and enhance your music creatively.

ReverbShaper is a standalone reverb plugin with Cableguys’ signature modulation capabilities. You can add movement to almost every reverb parameter using highly customizable LFOs and custom waveforms.

Cableguys also announced the Winter Sale is also now on!

The ShaperBox 3 Bundle, which contains the new ReverbShaper and nine additional effects worth $340, is only $89 during the sale.

Techivation M-Compressor

Techivation M-Compressor

Techivation offers the M-Compressor ($149) plugin to one lucky BPB reader.

M-Compressor is a sophisticated spectral audio compressor that offers downward and upward compression, targeting individual frequencies rather than the overall signal level.

This approach allows for distortion-free dynamic processing, with dynamic thresholds that balance compression across the spectrum, enhancing ambiance and achieving more aggressive compression effects if needed.

Techivation also launched the Holiday Sale, with a 70% discount on the Full Bundle and 40% off select individual plugins.

Polyverse Supermodal

Polyverse Supermodal

Polyverse offers one lucky winner a Supermodal ($99 value) filter plugin license.

Supermodal is a versatile filter-based multi-effect plugin for electronic music producers and sound designers.

It features a twin-filter engine with a standard state-variable filter that morphs between high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass modes. The standout feature is the unique ‘modal’ filter that filters audio through resonances, mimicking various struck or vibrated objects.

Supermodal also boasts an advanced modulation system, occupying the lower half of the GUI, where every parameter of both filter engines can be automated or modulated.

The robust modulation engine offers four modulation slots, six modulation sources (including ADSR, Sequencer, and Random), and stereo operation possibilities, allowing dynamic sound shaping.

Polyverse also launched the Winter Sale with up to 30% discounts on individual plugins and bundles. Supermodal is on sale for $69, and the all-in-one bundle is currently $349, down from $544.

Karanyi Sounds Cloudmax and Midnite

Karanyi Cloudmax

Karanyi Sounds offers the Cloudmax reverb plugin and Midnite hybrid guitar instrument to two lucky winners (one prize per winner).

Midnite is a versatile virtual instrument featuring a 5-module multi-layer engine, analog-modeled effects, and a randomizer. It was designed to create rich atmospheres, leads, and complex pulses, making it perfect for electronic music and cinematic sound design.

Cloudmax is a unique reverb-based “Texture Resonator” audio plugin. It combines a dual granular engine, reverb, tape emulation, filter, and EQ into one unit, offering over 110 presets and smart randomization features.

Karanyi Sounds also launched the December Deals sale with up to 86% off in discounts on plugins and bundles. You can also get Vapor Dimension and Technocolor for free if you purchase Midnite.

AudioThing Reels

AudioThing Reels Review

AudioThing offers the Reels plugin to one lucky BPB reader.

Reels emulates a distressed Japanese quarter-inch reel-to-reel tape recorder, offering a unique, grungy distortion and signal-mangling processor rather than a typical tape simulation.

AudioThing’s tape saturator is a unique tape emulation plugin offering more than just the traditional tape sound, with features like tape delay, stop simulation, and other creative effects.

Reels is one of my go-to tape plugins because I love its ability to subtly color music and bring cohesiveness to tracks. It also includes different tape types and saturation adjustment controls, so it’s easy to customize the tape saturation to fit your project perfectly.

Read more in our AudioThing Reels review.

A Sound Effect Packs

A Sound Effect

A Sound Effect offers two custom packs sourced from Slava Pogorelsky’s Complete Bundle.

The first pack delivers 30+ premium electromagnetic sound effects, perfect for creative sound design and experiments.

The second pack brings the winner a number of glass sound effects, from crunching, scratching, and scraping to tonal textures, glass movement sounds, and more.

A Sound Effect is currently running a sale with up to 92% off sound libraries, plugins, and virtual instruments.

Flame Sound Firestarter SFX

Firestarter SFX by Flame Sound

Lastly, I offer the Firestarter SFX trailer sound library by Flame Sound (my sound design label) to six lucky winners!

It’s a collection of cinematic sound effects like impacts, braams, tension, builders, booms, and more. You can use it for cinematic projects, but it also works for layering and adding tension to electronic music.

You’ll get 250 royalty-free sounds in 24-bit WAV quality. The Complete edition also includes cool bonuses like the Heatwave soundscape collection and royalty-free field recordings.

Check out the trailer below to hear some of the included sounds.

  1. Learn more practical music theory about chord progressions so that my noodling doesn’t always sound the same, always have the daw running. I lose a lot of interesting (to me) first takes.

    • Focus on making music and don’t spend ages tweaking stuff to make it perfect, cuz it never be perfect. Use templates and custom presets to optimize time. And don’t be lazy!!! Don’t waste your time haha

      • Thanks for this giveaway!! I’ll be working on mixing faster, and realize a song has to be finished at some point! :) can’t keep messing around with it forever!

  2. For me, it’ll be utilizing project templates, choosing plug-ins wisely, and planning before executing. Simple things that will help me finish more songs in 2024. Hope this helps fellow music producers, too. Merry Christmas, everyone!

  3. I’ll reduce the number of installed VST to the essentials, and then organize both my VST and my sample libraries, i spend too much time fiddling around with 3-4 tools for the same task when i could have only a core toolbox.

  4. 1) Record and mix all vocal tracks to my existing song demos – release at least one or two on Spotify
    2) Develop and record all rough ideas into good song structures
    3) Use the least amount of plugins initially. Add more only if needed.
    4) Further develop drum chops – I’m a keyboard player with EZ Drummer 3 and I need better proficiency on it. This will help me set up song structures quicker.

  5. Call house cleaning solutions. So they could sort the trash in my work project folders. Or to delete the drafts alltogether myself. No unfinished material – no worry about finishing it.

    • Take more breaks. I don’t always have the creativity to create something new, even if I want to. I will try to not pressure myself, as I only make matters worse if I do so.
Also, maybe watch less tutorials and actually produce music instead.

  6. To finish more songs in 2024 I will:
    1. Actually start making more songs
    2. Probably do lesser pauses between mixing/production sessions
    3. take a poop

    would be kinda cool

  7. I will Finish more Songs by creating time&space to do so and by better learning to quit the ones i should not longer bei working on:)

  8. Hello everyone. Good resolutions are invited every new year and disappear after a few weeks. I love music and I love what it brings me… and sometimes I start to doubt until the pleasure comes back. In this year 2024 I would need time and serenity so to be able to make more music and carry out more musical projects I have to organize myself and waste less time on other activities that are often less important. Merry Christmas to all, beautiful end of the year 2023 and happy new year 2024.

    Ludo

  9. “LESS IS MORE!”
That’s my mantra for 2024 in regards to everything – VSTs, DAWs, tutorials, magazines, forums, friends, families, everything! Keep a few of them in your toolbox and make sure to learn them inside out.

  10. What steps I will take to finish more songs I will keep very simple: open my DAW more.

The actual difference is that I have recently recovered from a burnout that lasted 2 years. And the score I have to beat is 0. At this moment coming up with anything that’s more committal than this is probably not worth the time and energy.

  11. I will put more time into learning, as I want to get better at mixing and understanding mastering. I already have a few songs finished but not yet published.

  12. I waste a lot of time this year, working with two DAWs (Ableton and Bitwig). That’s why I have a lot of unfinished songs. I’ll be focusing more on my Ableton though.

  13. Oof… Well, first I’ll try to get my head checked out so I can perhaps start with medicine to slow my brain down. I’m also in the process of buying a house, so if I do get it, I’ll have to renovate a room to house my noisy arse. Once the room has been treated, I’ll have to resign so I can concentrate on me-time again. So out of juice I rarely open my DAW these days…

  14. Focusing more on “Enjoying the process” rather than “The end result”, hopefully, this could beat my perfectionism tendencies that often resulted in me abandoning a project midway just because I think its not good enough.

  15. In 2024, my songwriting goals are crystal clear: I’ll set a routine, collaborate for fresh perspectives, eliminate distractions, and embrace learning and experimentation. I’ll capture ideas as they come, set deadlines, seek feedback, and stay persistent through challenges. Celebrating each completed song will keep me motivated on my creative journey. Let’s make 2024 a year of musical achievement!

  16. create tons of patcher presets to make the process of making music faster without compromising quality. this will save a ton of time instead of going through a list of vsts and turning knobs to perfection.

  17. I will:
1- Limit the software & instruments I use to be more productive and get lost less.
2- Give time limitations and put myself deadlines for certain tasks to follow up.
3- Use software like Notion to keep track of song progress (I start to forget what I was doing and what needs to be done when working on multiple projects and keep switching between them due to necessity).
4- Learn more about the law behind copyrights, intellectual property rights and samples; currently I avoid using samples unless I haven’t purchased due to not knowing enough about this.
5- Do more collabs, this might change from musician to musician, but involving other people to process tend to have a positive impact on my productivity.
6- Last but not least, follow more of BedroomProducersBlog (BPB) !!

  18. I will not be afraid to experiment and try new things. I will challenge myself to explore different sounds, instruments, effects, and genres. I will also embrace mistakes and failures as opportunities to learn and grow.

  19. I’m going to sketch out an album and complete it. I have my first album release (single) releasing on January 26th. Look out for me & expect big things.

    • Dominique Allard

      on

I will write few original songs 1st and try to fasten my workflow. I use to spend way too much time fiddling with new plugins and not focusing on basic tasks.

I will also try to complete all unfinished projects and collab in my music folder.

      Happy Holidays!

  20. Kris from Denmark

    on

What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

I will write and produce for minimum of 1 hour every day.

  21. Spend more time in the lab, not trying to perfect things but rather make quick sketches to revisit them shortly after. In short – keep the fyjah alive while buildin’ and sparkin it again whenever surfing a wave of new creativity!!!! Booomshakkalakka!!!!

  22. Simple but straight forward steps:
    1. Spend time wisely and focussed to produce and reserve space for work around like cover art
    2. Use time best by getting more structured with regard to organisation of (own)presets, library and idea cluster
    3. Just do it and release new mixes

  23. carlos esparza

    on

i’m gonna try something old fashioned: pencil and paper. taking notes, WRITING priorities and plans for tracks to use my brain’s power to remember on solidify ideas. also a rule: only 10 tracks in progress at a time. finish one and then i can start another.

  24. We need to make music more fun and think about differentiation from others.
And you have to work steadily.
    Small efforts produce great results.

    • More hard work every, improve my work flow every day, listen a lot of music, never stop dreaming and never give up. Thanks for makes us dream a bit more and merry Christmas 🎅

  25. I think I’ll probably narrow the scope of ongoing projects to only a handful, and ditch problematic projects that just aren’t working. I think I get caught up spending too much time trying to make things work when the easier solution would be to just move on to something else that makes me happier.

  26. I’ll be narrowing my scope of ongoing projects down to only a handful, and I’ll focus on moving away from problematic projects rather than beating my head against a wall trying to make things work.

    • I am going to collaborate with a lot of people and release a lot more music. My aim is to complete at least one remix a week and release at least 3 albums of remixes over the course of 2024 via Bandcamp.

  27. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

I’m going to need another hour in each day, can y’all help with that? ;-)

What I will probably do is add some rigor to my scheduling. I plan to block out at least 30 minutes per day to spend in the home office/studio and write, record, mix music. But .. as we all know .. the best laid plans of mice and men ….

  28. Mikolaj Alexander

I’ll ask my cousin to lock me indoors from the outside. Pigeons will be delivering me groceries. I’ll drink more coffee, sleep less and eat more chips and hotdogs. I’ll listen to Skrillex in the morning and Wagner in the evening. I will tune instruments properly and then I’ll chain myself to the chair and pass the key to my monkey that doesn’t like me because I don’t let it play the lute. I will unsubscribe from all YouTube channels and stop watching professional composers in their studio wandering how they’ve convinced their parents to pay for it, and instead I’ll crank up the volume and work faster, smarter, more laid back, and worry less.

  29. I will set more time aside for creating and finishing my productions. I want to finish a minimum of 5 songs this year.

  30. Gregory Nutter

    on

Work on music more and more. I have 2 projects of 20 tracks that are almost done but when it is finished in the Winter (Southern Hemisphere) for next year’s Summer I shall unleash it to the dance floors.

  31. Hello, thanks for the opportunity!
Without a doubt it would be to compose as much as possible day by day, stop analyzing everything that happens and just have fun creating music!

  32. I will get my huge number of libraries and plugins organized so that I spend less time looking for the appropriate ones when I need them.

  33. What? I don’t have a job, my phone doesn’t receive calls or messages. I’ve spent everything I have on music. What else am I supposed to do or well, not?

Sit down, play. What can I say. No other way. Doesn’t help you just pay.

    • Streamlining my process in order to be more consistent with finishing projects.

Happy holidays and good luck to everyone.

  34. I will stop thinking ideas then leaving it after just because I get “bored” . Focus on finishing rather than continuing it the next day

  35. I will first update my travelling laptop with all my posessed plugins and will then start to work when I´m on tour.
And to finish more new projects I will first end two older projects that have nearly been forgotten.

  36. I think giving my ears time to breathe will actually help. Resting is just as important as working and will help with burnout.

  37. Spend more time producing with the help of creating notes with random musical ideas (e.g. not 4/4 time signature, trying new particular vst or sample, apply relative modulation and so on) and make a song each 1-3 days following that idea

  38. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

I thing i have to say, is be more productive at it…take the tome to write down idea and put it on music on my old computer and my old accesories… I definitively need nee stuff….

  39. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

Ans- The one of the most difficult thing in the life of a producer, How to finish more songs ?
Because when you work with your art you forget the time and start doing the things better and better. And because of it we get stuck in one thing for a long time. Below are the some steps which I will try to take to finish more songs –
    1) Stop judging the song too much.
    2) Going too much for perfection.
    3) Deciding deadlines for each project.
    4) Stop comparing my songs too much with other songs which have made of almost double or even the higher budget than mine.
    5) Understanding the process rather than just only going forward with hit and trial in any direction.
There are lot more things but I thing for this comment this is so much.
Thanks BPM for sharing so much valuable information and deals related to music.

  40. – Get better at creating my own patches on my analog synths. Really enjoying doing that now!
    – Buckle down and take that 8-bar loop to the finish line when there is a song in it’s nucleus
    – Last but not least, put in the time and most of all, have fun doing it. :)

    Merry X-mas to all.

  41. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

Get some money and then more free time.
    Get some education.
    Produce songs.

  42. Work out what i want to make, stop messing around with setup templates, and actually make more music. Think more critically about what to change and keep etc, and be more assertive with what I implement.

  43. I will be more satisfied with my songs, mixes. Mix the song without going back 20 times to see if it’s good. Mix, listen a few times – move on!!

Definitly, get involve in psyque of my clients in order to make bonds and understand more of they needings.

  45. Thanks a lot for this contest and for your great job… I got so many cool VSTs for free thanks to your newsletter! =)
In order to finish more tracks in 2024… I’ll try to record more often audio clips instead of just tweaking my synths and effects for hours -being afraid of freezing it and not being able to change it later… xD
I wish you an everybody an happy new year and lots of music and inspiration for 2024!

  46. To finish more songs I’m going implement the “threes” rule – no more than three projects / loops on the go at any one time, work on structure quicker than focussing on one loop – build out A/B/C sections and create an arrangement to give the chance of a song than listening to the same 16bars over and over and never getting further!

  47. I’ll take all construction kits and samples and vsts i purchased this year and put them to work. Start from scratch, no revisiting my older unfinished songs, no inspiration from other sources. Just me and my little pretty daw. :)
Have fun this new year and 10x bpb for this giveaway, good luck to all!

  48. What steps will I taqke to finish more songs in 2024?

I’ve been writing constantly the past few months, so I’d liqke to actually sit down and get everything to come out exactly the way I’m envisioning it in my head. After 3 years of postponing the project, 2024 is going to be the year and winning this giveaway would be a gawd send.

  49. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

No darle tantas vueltas a las canciones, que en el momento que suelan bien, es por que suenan bien, ser mas productivo y constante.

  50. Finnish? No I’m swedish. He he. I need some hardware that doesnt crash all the time. This would be a giant leap into making the music in my brain justice when it’s reflected out through the speakers. But, stonebroke so… Ruina.

  51. 1. begin to meditate before working to get into most creative mindset

    2. fight through distractions and use the pomodoro technique

    3. work with joy, discovering new realms of musical expression

    4. throw perfectionism into the garbage bin and just release the tracks when they’re good enough!

  52. 1. begin to meditate before working to get into most creative state of mind

    2. use the pomodoro technique or let your ears rest once in a while

    Thank You!

  54. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?
    – Spend more time to actually make song, and spend less time to trivial thing

  55. Good Evening,

I go by Sonny Styles. My plan is to keep the mode at play. I am constantly motivated every time I have ideas. I always record my ideas as soon as it hits my brain, to recorder on my phone. I even write notes on how I want things to sound. I may put a song a side for a few days if I get blocked. However, I stay coming back to it because I’ll hear something in another song that was fiyah, n I’ll try sumthin similar to it. These are my steps.

I work a regular job so it can get difficult at times when I’m tired. But once I get goin, I’m on a mission.

  56. 1. Exercise in the day to get some forward momentum
    2. Commit to doing short 10-15 minute sessions – it makes it easier to start, and I almost always wind up going for much longer
    3. Get more organized with tools that will help me finish the last stages of tracks (editing and mixing)

  57. Danilo Rodríguez

    on

I need to be less critical with my music and release it as it is. I’m starting to convince myself that it’s good enough.

  58. I will finish and publish my first episode this year. Following that I will focus on collaborations with friends to make more music together!

  59. Creo que ante todo organización y divertirte con lo que estás haciendo. Las habilidades técnicas con el tiempo se van mejorando. También tratar de reducir al máximo plugins y librerías.

  60. Spending more time in studio of course – but also finishing all started and unfinished songs from 2022 / 2023 (I have plenty of them, still thinking, re-arranging, etc…)

  61. A simple rule: I am going to optimize my workflow by defining and limiting the tools/instruments to use in my productions, since the constant temptation to try EVERY new VST that was published took up too much of my time in 2023.

  62. nathan jackson

    on

1.Think outside the box more and just go with the flow
2.Get a midi drum kit make drum beat faster
3.Start to learn midi piano better
4 Maybe get that vochlea dubler 2 so i can use my voice :)
    5.Start learning chord scales
    6.Organise all my plugins
7.Start listening to music and youtube less before i go into fl studio. so my mind is clear and not full of random stuff lol

  64. Set Clear Goals: Define the number of songs you aim to finish in 2024. Having a clear target can motivate you to stay on track.

Create a Routine: Dedicate specific times in your week for songwriting. Whether it’s daily, weekly, or bi-weekly sessions, consistency can be key.

Eliminate Distractions: Find a quiet and inspiring space to work. Limit interruptions by turning off notifications or letting others know you’re in a creative session.

Use Deadlines: Set deadlines for yourself, even if they’re self-imposed. This can help create a sense of urgency.

Collaborate: Working with others can provide fresh perspectives and motivation. Consider co-writing with other songwriters or collaborating with musicians.

Seek Feedback: Regularly share your unfinished songs with trusted friends, mentors, or fellow musicians. Their feedback can guide your revisions and keep you motivated.

Join a Songwriting Group: Being part of a community can provide support, accountability, and opportunities for growth.

Study Songwriting: Continuously educate yourself on songwriting techniques, structures, and styles. This can provide inspiration and new approaches to your craft.

Stay Inspired: Engage with music that inspires you. Attend concerts, listen to diverse genres, or read about your favorite songwriters.

Practice: Like any skill, the more you practice songwriting, the better you’ll become. Embrace the process and be patient with yourself.

Remember, the journey of songwriting is personal, so find what works best for you and enjoy the creative process!

  65. Using SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Relevant, Time. Splitting up sessions with a primary focus only on sound design, another session specifically on capturing ideas. Minimum or 5 minutes spent every day. Can be as easy as capturing voice memo to use later.

  66. step 1 – stay open to the muses
step 2 – keep involved with facebook #songspark songwriting group and complete each monthly challenge

  67. I am going to learn to play piano better in order to compose music quicker and bring more of my musical ideas to completion.

  68. I won’t waste my time on practice; work will train me better. It’s my experience that excels at my work speed, not just my efforts.

  69. Nothing can help me except my experience and my strategy, so that’s why I don’t waste my time trying to find ways that could ruin my ideas. However, I do make sure not to clutter my computer with unnecessary files, as I prefer to keep my work environment organized and easy to navigate. I like to think of my computer as my home, where I know where everything is and can access it when needed.

// Note: I’m not chasing songs upload amount, neither am I chasing popularity/money. I just like music.

So, which steps I’ll take to finish more songs? – None, I want to make quality music, not tons of music.

So, which steps I’m going to take to make quality music?
I’ll grind the hell out of: Music Theory (Composition, Arrangement, Call & Response, Harmony, etc), Sound Design (its highly subjective, I’m going to do a ton), I’ll dive deep into my tools (plugins/stock processors/DAW functionality).
    I think that’s it.

  71. The steps I’ll take in 2024: a thousand times from the living area of the apartment to my basement music studio. And I’ll enter giveaways. Cheers!

  72. First step: isolate myself more (if possible)
    Second step: drink less
Third step: compose more on acoustic guitar (helps me generate more parts/complete a composition)

  73. Work towards not being such a perfectionist and nitpicking over every small detail when likely no one else would notice it anyway!

  74. For the next year I will focus on enhancing my keyboard playing skills and music theory, so I can bring it all together more effectively.

  75. Recently I’ve been waking up at 6am every day to work on music.

Also, I try to remind myself that not everything I work on has to be the next OK Computer — it sounds ridiculous when I write it out like that (who the hell do I think I am? lol) but it’s seriously a helpful strategy. Reminding myself that there’s lots of “just okay” music out there that people still enjoy really keeps me motivated and producing!

I’ll continue doing these two things in the new year and I’m 100% sure I’ll finish more songs.

Thanks for running the giveaway! I’m looking forward to lots more great BPB content in 2024 :D

  76. Buy fewer programs and plugins and use better the ones I already have.
Thanks to BPB for their effort and work and happy holidays to all.

  77. Deliberately create simple versions of my songs so they’re caught. Then develop the creative arrangements. Then record them “properly”. By starting & finishing songs quickly I’ll develop writing & recording momentum that will spill into the production creativity, yet still finish my songs in one form or other.

  78. Buy fewer programs and add-ons and make better use of the ones I already have.
Thanks to BPB for their effort and work and happy holidays to all.

  79. I think I’ll try a lot more with the plugins and sounds that I already have. In that way, I think I’ll refind a new passion and than I’ll produce a lot more. I think i experiment a lot more and than I would be with one project more than an hour.

  80. What I need to do to finish more songs is stop procrastinating.. that’s my issue.. I’ll start one and then start working on something else lol.. I can do it!

  81. The best way to finish songs in 2024 is to do 1 thing at a time and focus on 1 thing at time. The main reason for abandoning projects is the stream of ideas and daydreaming, due to which we loose focus on old projects and get lured to the new ones, ultimately leading them also to the same place (the unfinished project graveyard).
We need to understand that music production is a marathon not a sprint !

I’m going to stop waiting for perfection and give each song a deadline. If not, it will cause me to put things off.
I’m going to make writing music a higher priority than mixing and mastering, which takes too much time.
I’ll also aim to master a few vsti plugins and reduce the number of sound libraries and plugins I use to do the same tasks.

To finish more songs in 2024 I’m going to be trying to focus more on how I go about making music.i usually say to myself I’m going to make this exact genre in this exact style and instead of doing that I’m just going to let the music take me where it wants to go. Im also planning on getting some more essential gear such as a proper chair for my desk so that i don’t get aches and I sit at my desk.
    Happy holidays!

  84. What steps will you take to finish more songs in 2024?

This is definitely a New Years resolution for me!

I plane to create a schedule to set time for producing a new song every month.
Set goals for each week. Sound selection, Loop creation and ideas, Arrangement, and Final touches for Mastering.

2024 will be a producers year for me.

Keep making music everyone and Happy New Year!

Not ignoring my Muse when she whispers in my ear! She is a cruel mistress who takes away as coldly as she gives if I procrastinate…

  86. Intentionally set aside time to work on music and stay focused on the goal for the finished product rather than getting lost in all the metaphorical fireflies I chase when producing music.
