SOUND7 is kindly offering the exclusive free BPB S7 Dub Techno loop library for Bedroom Producers Blog readers.
BPB Dub Techno is a free techno loop library crafted by SOUND7 and available exclusively at Bedroom Producers Blog. The library contains 20 loops in 24-bit WAV format. All filenames are labeled with BPM info for convenience. The included loops are sorted into two categories: drum loops and top loops.
See also: Best FREE Recording SoftwareThe sound designers at SOUND7 used a range of hardware instruments as the sound source for the loops. The featured hardware includes Moog DFAM, Roland TR-808, and the Elektron Machine Drum, amongst other instruments.
The post-processing was also done with analog hardware as the weapon of choice. The processing consisted of many different aspects depending on each sound, using tools like the Moog Matriach, an original Roland Space Echo Re-201, Moog delay and phaser pedals, and much more.
Here’s a closer look at the included loop content:
- Drum loops – The drum loops and associated loop layers were composed at 120 BPM, 44 kHz, and 24-bit with all-analog sources.
- Top loops – 126 BPM and likewise at 44 kHz, 24-bit with the same analog sources.
The samples were designed from the ground up to be highly organic and musical in nature. Their main purpose is to fit the Ambient House and Dub Techno genres. These two electronic music styles traditionally feature only sparse melodic content, as opposed to using thick heavy sounds to bring audible interest to the listener.
Included in the pack are the full pre-mixed loop and the individual loop layers (hats, kicks, snares, etc.) so producers can mix and match the layers they want depending on the project. The included audio content is provided as royalty-free for use in your projects.

SOUND7 is dedicated to producing packs for genres they have long-term experience with, which is Trance, Progressive, Techno, Chillwave, Synthwave, and Retro. The label doesn’t have release schedules. Instead, they are only releasing a new product when they feel it’s good enough for people to be able to use it to its fullest. The quality control is so strict that for each bank of 64 presets, there are usually thirty that never make the final cut.
The label’s future steps are to open up the product rage with more packs for a wider selection of synths and additional Sample Packs. They are also looking into crafting some bigger cinematic material.
