Mastrcode Music Releases FREE T-Force Delay VST Plugin

Mastrcode Music released T-Force Delay, a free delay effect in VST and VST3 plugin formats for Windows 7 or higher.

T-Force is a simple dual-mode delay effect plugin with a few extra features. The plugin contains some 3rd party code modules that are not yet available for Mac. If that changes in the future, we may see the release of an AU version.

The GUI has a simple layout; the main settings and master output are wide left and right and darker in color. Starting on the left, you have time and feedback controls. As expected, these control the time of the delay and the length of the feedback signal.

Next to those controls, you have a few switches; a power switch to bypass the plugin, a sync switch to go between free and host sync delay time, and a ping pong mode switch. Ping pong mode creates a panning left/right echo effect.

On the right of the GUI is the dry and wet mix controls. Pretty self-explanatory, they allow you to blend the processed and unprocessed signals as you like.

The two sections in the middle of the GUI are where it gets a little more interesting. On the top, you have the Feedback Modulations section. The first thing you can do with this section is to use the filters (high-pass/low-pass) to create an analog tape-style echo in the feedback signal.

That would be the tame side of this section; if you want something filthier, move over to the degrader controls. Degrading or downsampling in the feedback signal means what comes back is a kind of mangled version of the source. The degrade, and mix controls determine how mangled it is. Lastly, you have the Flanger section with rate, depth, feedback, and mix controls. The feedback control is perhaps the one you want to be most careful with as it can alter the overall sound quickly. Remember, the flanger effect is applied to the wet signal, so you can go a bit more extreme with it if you like, then pull back the wet signal in the main output section.

It will be interesting to see if an AU version emerges and how T-Force develops from version 1.0. You may have to download Microsoft Visual C++.
