Moog Music offers the Model 15 Modular Synthesizer ($29.99), Minimoog Model D Synthesizer ($19.99), Filtatron ($4.99), Theremini Editor, and Animoog ($29.99) apps as free downloads from the App Store for a limited time only.
All four apps are completely free to download from the app store. This is a limited-time offer, but there’s no info on when it will expire. However, it’s worth pointing out that, once downloaded, the apps are yours to keep forever.

Let’s take a closer look at the four apps.
Minimoog Model D Synthesizer
Minimoog Model D Synthesizer is a faithful recreation of Moog’s legendary Minimoog synth. If you’re looking for authentic Moog sounds on the go, this should be your first pick.
The Model D app delivers amazing bass and lead sounds, as expected from a proper Minimoog emulation. It also adds a built-in preset manager, packed with 160 presets to help you get started.
Model 15 Modular Synthesizer
Model 15 Modular Synthesizer is a modular synth app developed by none other than Moog. Whereas Model D excels as a quick-and-easy analog bass machine, the Model 15 app is the one to choose if you enjoy spending hours building complex modular patches.
As its name suggests, Model 15 emulates Moog’s famous hardware modular synthesizer. The app edition is polyphonic and takes next to zero space in your studio.
Definitely worth the download if you’re into modular synthesizers or if you’re looking to take your first step into the world of modular synthesis.
Animoog
Animoog is an oldie but still a goodie. It was Moog’s first-ever software polysynth developed exclusively for the iPad.
The instrument takes advantage of the Anisotropic Synth Engine (ASE) to deliver desktop-quality sounds on portable devices.
Unlike the Model 15 and Model D apps, the Animoog synth fully embraces the phone/tablet form factor to deliver a more hands-on experience. Since its interface is not based on hardware, it is more intuitive and fun to use on a touchscreen.
Filtatron
Filtatron is a Moog-style filter with a built-in sampler and an oscillator. Pass any sound through the filter via the line/microphone input and add some grit to your recordings.
Unfortunately, Filtatron isn’t available in the AUv3 plugin format.

onAw man. I tried to get these on the off chance that I eventually get an iPad and it looks like they’re gone. Oh well.
