Wavparty released Akemie’s Taiko, the final entry in its Modular MAYhem series of free sample packs featuring modular synthesizer sounds.
Joining Eurorack Party Pack #2, Mutant Bassdrum Hundo Pack, and Neuron is the latest Modular MAYhem release called Akemie’s Taiko sample pack. The Akemie’s Taiko library includes 103 one-shots, eight drum loops, and eight Ableton Live instruments derived from the Eurorack FM drum module of the same name.

Possibilities include glitchy snares, metallic percussion, melodic bass and lead sounds – or anything else one can come up with.
All samples included in the Akemie’s Taiko sound pack come in the 44.1kHz, 16-bit mono WAV format. They are ready to be dropped into pretty much any sampler or digital audio workstation straight away.
Akemie’s Taiko sample plack contains:
- 37 snares
- 22 melodic sounds (tuned to C)
- 19 percussion sounds
- 16 kick drums (12 of them tuned to C)
- 9 hi-hats
The pack is free to download from Wavparty. Akemie’s Taiko is offered as a “pay what you want” product with no minimum requirement.
