Analogue Instruments has released Xperiments, a series of freely downloadable sound libraries for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt. The libraries also include the individual samples in WAV format.
Xperiments is a collection of free Kontakt libraries developed by Analogue Instruments. Everyone who signs up to the Analogue Instruments mailing list can download the sound libraries free of charge. You will need the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt to use the included NKI patches. They will only work for fifteen minutes in the free Kontakt Player plugin.

The latest edition to the collection is Vintage Pad, a crispy analog string patch based on Prophet 08 synthesizer samples.
The libraries come with a custom user interface for NI Kontakt. The UI is based on Ai Pulse Engine MK1, the same Kontakt engine Analogue Instruments uses in its commercial releases. There are plenty of ways to modulate and reshape the source samples, including multiple envelopes and LFOs, a wide selection of effects, and a modulation sequencer. If you don’t own the full version of Kontakt, you can still use the included WAV files in a compatible sampler plugin.
To download your free copy of Analogue Instruments Xperiments, visit the product page and click the “Get the FREE instruments” button. After signing up, you will gain access to the Xperiments download page. You will also gain access to the previously released Analogue Drummer and Electron Reactor Demo freebie libraries by Analogue Instruments.
