Revolution is a fully-featured virtual drum machine for Native Instruments Kontakt. The included sample library features the sounds of fourteen legendary analog and digital drum instruments. The drum samples were sourced from a variety of all-time drum machine classics like the Roland TR-808, Roland TR-909, LinnDrum, and Sequential Circuits DrumTraks, among others.

The full version of NI Kontakt is not required in order to use the Wave Alchemy Revolution drum machine. The library is also fully integrated with all Komplete Kontrol keyboards and NI Maschine.
Obviously, Revolution is a sample-based instrument, not an emulation. This means that the instrument captures the authentic sound character of the sampled drum machines. One great feature is Revolution’s modular design. It allows the user to combine the drum sounds from different drum sources and create their own hybrid drum machine.
Wave Alchemy also did their best to replicate the sequencing workflow and the groove of these old-school instruments. The result is one of the most realistic sound virtual drum machines on the market. The team at Wave Alchemy went so far as to compare Revolution to a real 808 and the results are astonishing.

onTwo questions: does the Kontakt Player version support multi-outs? Are DMX and Linn Drum (LM1, LM2) modules included?

onOn their website, Wave Alchemy listed the following machines: 808, 909, 606, CR-78, CR-8000, Linndrum, Drumtraks, Drumulator, OB-DX, SP-12. Not sure about multi-out, it’s not mentioned on the specs and I don’t have Revolution installed on my travel laptop.
