Eric Beam’s 1313 website (aka signaltonoize and rhythminmind) is a great source of some lovely impulse reponses and samples, but I’ve only recently discovered the nifty tutorial section on there.

For today I’ve picked this 2-part series of tutorials on processing the live recorded acoustic drum kit kicks and fitting them in the mix properly. The tutorials are detailed and very well presented, I really enjoyed watching them.
