The developer behind One Small Clue Audio has created an interesting thread at KVR Forums, featuring links to some useful resources for people interested in learning VST development.
I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of making my own VSTs, but never really tried to get into it (except for a bit of messing around in SynthEdit). It takes knowledge to become a good VST developer, and building knowledge takes time – something I can’t invest at the moment.
Still, the winter is arriving somewhat soon and those cold winter days are often a good time to spend some time at home, learning new stuff. Hence, the thread is linked below and bookmarked for future reference.

I’ve been thinking of doing it lately. Though I would like to make a host more than an instrument.
But the time it takes to learn and build is time i want to do other things with as well! I think i’ll just build it in my brain and let it remain a fantasy ;)
