Coursera and Berklee College of Music are launching 3 new interesting online courses for musicians which will begin on October 16th.
Coursera is an education company that partners with the top universities and organizations in the world to offer courses online for anyone to take, for free.
The courses which would (in my opinion) be interesting for musicians are called Introduction to Music Production, Songwriting, and Introduction to Guitar. All three courses are provided by the renowned Berklee College of Music and they all begin on October 16th!
Joining the online course of your choice is completely free! Simply click on the Enroll For Free button on the course page and follow the on-screen instructions. You will need to register for a free account and that’s pretty much all.
The courses consist of numerous video lessons and last for 6 weeks. I took the Introduction to Digital Sound Design course by Emory University last year and it was a worthy insight into the world of audio design for me.
I highly recommend that you join these courses (at least the Introduction to Music Production one) if you’re a beginner and looking to take your production skills to the next level. Happy studying dear BPB readers!
Is this your first time on BPB? Take a look at our round-up of freeware VST plugins and download some of our free sample libraries. Have fun!
