It’s time for another round-up of fresh freebie samples.
- Free TR-808 Grooves by Reusenoise – A zipped 76 MB collection of Roland TR-808 drum loops in WAV/AIFF formats. The collection contains 1 bar and 4 bar grooves, with a BPM ranging from 85 to 110 BPM.
- Free Hardware Samples by lightshapers – DSF member lightshapers has released some of his analog synth recordings as a free download. They sound quite nice, although a bit roughly cut, but if you’re looking for analog sounds you’d like to further process by yourself, you may find these pretty useful indeed. - SH-101 FM Warmbass by Waveformless – Samples of a NovaModded Roland SH-101. Unlike the original SH-101, this modded unit gains FM synthesis abilities, resulting in an uniquely warm bass tone.
- EMU Verb-Cussive by pro|tone – Part six of the Elements series by pro|tone brings us this unusual set of drum samples in NI Kontakt format.
