Cableguys and Splice have launched a special offer giving everyone a chance to grab a free copy of the brilliant VolumeShaper 3 effect before November 14th!
VolumeShaper 3 is a unique amplitude modulation effect by Cableguys. Featuring the brilliant custom waveform editor which is pretty much a must have in all Cableguys plugins, it is an extremely powerful and versatile sound mangling tool.
In addition to that, the plugin also features a powerful oscilloscope display which can be a helpful aid for setting up fake side-chain compressors setups with extra precision. The plugin can also be used as a standalone oscilloscope plugin, without any effect on the amplitude of the processed signal. For more info about the plugin, take a look at my review of VolumeShaper 3.
VolumeShaper 3 can be purchased for $20 in the Cableguys online shop, however you can grab this plugin for free thanks to the special offer which will end on Novemeber 14th. To grab your free copy of VolumeShaper 3, create a free user account at Splice and invite 5 friends to do the same. Once your friends have created their user accounts, you will automatically receive an email with your VolumeShaper 3 license.
Splice is a new cloud platform for music creation and online collaboration. It’s an interesting way to collaborate with fellow musicians online, definitely easier and more convenient than communicating and exchanging stems via email or file sharing services.
Will you take advantage if this offer? Do you already use Splice or any of the Cableguys plugins? Let me know in the comments section below!
More info about the freebie offer is available via Splice Blog.

onDid anyone test Splice, is it worth to sign up at all? Does it really make online collaboration easier?
(I don’t need Volume Shaper 3 because I already have it, it’s a pretty nice gain riding tool – it makes life easier, so you don’t need to sidechain everything with everything anymore… :-)
