As an artist I need to start on a blank page and have easy access to all the folders I’ve created.
T7 is a one page DAW, but I like their folder trees but instruments with multi outputs are complicated to configurate.
Bandlab has a better view of my workflow and comes with several good quality VSTi and FX. But it lacks sub folders and can only open one VST/VSTi window at a time.
However, the floating windows and color folder trees of Reaper have convinced me to buy their licence.
Looking forward to read your Waveform reviews and to try their free version – Thanks Tomislav!

I hope Waveform Free supports 32-bit machines. Waveform 10 beta versions are still available for free on Tracktion’s website, which I can’t use on my 32-bit PC. Am still running T7.

well as a computer music subscriber i actually have this daw, i think its just the same as provided by computer music. its actually waveform 9 without third party things n without collective .

Well, I`m curious. Though, Waveform basically is T7 with a mixer added and some ultra-pro bells and whistles. Been a huge fan of Tracktion since the 5th version and a free giveaway of T7 was a dream come true to me. Guys have always been generous to broke and poor)

In reply to zach. It seems like they introduce a paid version almost yearly. It ditched Tracktion as an additional DAW because few updates vs. paid upgrades. An upgrade license is the same as Reaper.

Tracktion doesn’t crash very often. Only when a hummingbird flaps its wings somewhere on the planet.

Never tried it (probably will when free version is released), but just wanted to say that I’ve never had a VST crash with Reaper which can use both 32- and 64-bit at the same time.
