SympleSound has announced the release of Oneshots: Volume 1, a free collection of one-shot synth patches designed for use with Ableton Live 9.7 and above (WAV files also included).
The pack is based on Francis Preve’s excellent series of Ableton Live freebies which were released on his website in the period between 2011 and 2015. These free Ableton Live packs featured the sounds of various hardware synthesizers, from legendary synths such as the Roland SH-101 to modern classics like the Novation Bass Station II and Moog Minitaur.
This new release from SympleSound transform all of those freebies into a single Ableton Live pack, containing a total of 59 sampled patches, 22 MIDI sequences, and 13 one shot drum samples. These are converted into Ableton Live rack with built-in effects and macro controls. The provided pack is compatible with Ableton Live 9.7 and higher, although the included WAV and MIDI files can be used in pretty much any digital audio workstation and sampler instrument on the market.
On a related note, SympleSound is offering 25% discount on all products until January 1st, 2017. To see the discounted prices, visit their online Shop.
To download your free copy of Oneshots: Volume 1, you’ll need to complete a slightly confusing checkout process. While checking out, you don’t need to enter your credit card details, but you must fill out the other fields (name, address, etc.). I was getting an error message until I figured this out (that the credit card can be skipped, but the rest needs to be entered).
Oneshots: Volume 1 is available for free download via SympleSound (82.4 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 72 audio samples in 16-bit WAV format, 1 Ableton Live project in CFG format).
