Generally, if I’m looking for 808 sounds to go with an existing idea, I’ll go with dry samples like the Discovery Sound library or my TR-08, – but for colourful inspiration, the SFM 808 sounds never fail. Goldbabys Analogue-808 and just the Orig.wav files from the his Tape808 also get used quite a lot.
