Looks like half the links are taken offline. For example, they are Reactor Strat by Real Feel and Free Gibson Les Paul Power Chords by Reusenoise (both sites had their domain expired).

For Thrash DI FREE by SampleOddity, the seller had the PayLoadz account taken offline also.

Not even the Wayback Machine could archive those. Sad.

In reply to Steve. Steve, yes, I am realizing that more and more every day! Plus, finding virtual or real guitar music to use, that sounds realistic, is very hard to find. I think it's because computers' speakers are just not very advanced yet. In my opinion, personal computers just do not make good music studios, at least not yet.

ooh, thanks for that Unlimited Hellest link, never heard of ’em before. i’ll add those libraries to the list today, along with some freesound.org samples i forgot to mention.

as for GigaStudio, you can use it with Linux Sampler:

my favourite for guitar are Trash DI, TheoK Yamaha Pacifica and Classic Guitar from Pettinhouse. I mostly use Factory Selection from Kontakt Player for bass.

Unlimited Hellest also have some e-bass and guitar sample in their Cinematica kontakt library.
