Wavelet Audio introduces Trailer Ambient Tools, a free trailer piano sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt (also includes WAV samples).
Trailer Ambient Tools is a free piano sound library intended for trailer and cinematic music composition. That said, it can easily fit any type of mix or music project, especially if needs a layer of cinematic sounds.

That said, Wavelet Audio included a small set of sound effect samples in WAV format, too. These can be used in any sampler plugin or digital audio workstation on the market.
To source the sounds for Trailer Ambient Tools, the team at Wavelet Audio an old piano instrument called “Belarus”.
The sampled piano is a bit broken and unstable, resulting in a few pitch imperfections that were left in intentionally. This adds to the overall dark and cinematic feel of the sampled instrument. At the same time, the piano has a very warm and aerial tone that helps to bring a deep and ambient-ish atmosphere to any production.
Trailer Piano Tools features a simple custom interface for NI Kontakt.
In addition to the piano, Wavelet Audio sampled the same guitar that was used for the Cabal 8 sound library. As a sprinkle on top, they included some of the pre-designed trailer sound effects from other projects. These SFX trailer sounds are provided as WAV files.
So, that’s quite a lot of premium content for a free library.
Wavelet Audio states that all of their instruments are already mixed and processed to be ready for use in a commercial project. Everything works and sounds mix-ready right out-of-the-box.
