SaschArt Releases FREE TwinPhaser VST/AU Plugin

SaschArt has released TwinPhaser, a freeware dual phaser effect in VST and AU plugin formats for compatible DAW software on PC and Mac.

TwinPhaser is a stereo phaser effect with two separate phaser modules for the left and right audio channels. The user can adjust the modulation frequency, modulation depth, feedback, and the mix amount parameters separately on both channels. As a result, TwinPhaser can be used to apply complex and wide stereo phasing to the processed audio signal.

The plugin also features a phase accent control for a more prominent phasing effect. This can be applied to a single channel or to both channels simultaneously for a more balanced effect. A pan mirroring control is provided for symmetrical stereo balancing. The bypass control in the bottom-right corner of the GUI can bypass the plugin up to a certain user-defined audio signal threshold. TwinPhaser comes with a small selection of presets to help new users get started with the plugin. For more precise control, the user can right-click a knob and enter the desired numerical value for the parameter.

As with all other SaschArt plugins, TwinPhaser is super-lightweight and doesn’t use a lot of CPU resources. The plugin installer is less than 1 MB in size. If you’re a fan of lightweight audio plugins, check out SaschArt’s recently released ReverseDelay effect, too.

TwinPhaser is available for free download from SaschArt’s website, with optional donations. The software is available in VST and AU plugin formats with support for both 32-bit and 64-bit plugin hosts.
