Loopcloud launched their biggest Black Friday sale yet, offering a free copy of the Loopmasters KHORDS ($89 value) plugin, free bonus credits, and other awards to new and existing Annual Plan subscribers.
If you’re unfamiliar with Loopcloud, it’s a sample-based platform (powered by Loopmasters) that lets you add royalty-free samples to your music. It can be used as standalone software or as a VST plugin in your favorite DAW. Loopcloud is available for both Windows and macOS users.
As part of their Black Friday sale, Loopmasters is giving away their KHORDS plugin for free when you subscribe to Loopcloud.
KHORDS is an instrument plugin with 550 chord presets to get you started on your next project. There are 315 chord samples. This plugin was designed to help producers add harmonies and chord progressions to their music.
In terms of sounds, you can choose between stabs, plucks, pads, strums, atmospheres, and others from the library. You can then pick between major, minor, and root/open to determine the mood of the music you want to make.
You can stretch the selected sample using the ‘speed’ and ‘formant’ knobs. This allows you to tweak the sample to fit with the rest of your project.
There is also an option to transpose the chord, the key, and the notes individually.
The filter LFO lets you choose the shape, rate of sync, and phase.
Additionally, there are individual faders for ADSR (attack, decay, sustain, release) and a master control that lets you adjust the level of envelopes added.
KHORDS’ includes an FX section with a chorus, three types of delay, and six different reverb modes. These provide a quick way to add some interest to the chord samples.
Since you can choose between different instruments and combine them, the plugin lets you generate unique sounds and is perfect for musicians of all genres. It is a 64-bit only plugin. Although it is compatible with both Windows and macOS machines, it does not support AAX format yet.
You can download this for free when you subscribe to Loopcloud.
Loopcloud has three different tiers of subscription: Artist, Studio, and Professional. While there is a free trial period for all of them, the cloud storage space varies. You can subscribe on either a monthly or annual basis. There is also the option to upgrade or downgrade your plan at any given time.
The visual interface is easy to use, and you can search for samples based on instruments, genres, labels, or even key and BPM.
Loopcloud has become the go-to for many electronic music producers because of the easy availability of samples online. Along with KHORDS, Loopcloud is also offering three drum packs for free download.
IMPORTANT: The offer is only valid for the Annual Plan subscribers.

onYou should contact their support team. I checked with Loopcloud (prior to publishing the article) and the information on their Black Friday promo page is supposed to be correct.

onHi, as always, thanks for the info. Does it work if you buy 1 month only?

onI believe this is valid for a 1-year subscription only. I will update the article to be more clear about this.

onThis offer seems to concerne only annual subscriptions.

onHello, I think that you are right. By reaching the top 5 at the GPC, I also won a one year subscription to Loopcloud. My account says I have a Pro plan but, no idea why that is, billing is monthly.
This gave me neither the points, nor the sample packs, nor the plugin or anything else.
So I also think it’s because of the annual subscription.

onHey! Maybe someone signed up for a yearly plan – could you write the code to get Loopmasters Khords on my email: [email protected]! He seems to go one for everyone!)
