T-RackS 5 SE comes with 10 mixing effects in total. You’ll find compressors, EQs, reverbs, and even a character-rich delay.
I’ve had Black 76, White 2A, and the 670 for several years now. They aren’t the fanciest or most fastidious replicas of their analog forebears, but they certainly provide a different type of compression. They provide the vintage flavor in T-RackS 5 SE, with the Classic Compressor rounding things out.
These all do the job admirably and give a taste of the ecosystem. You’ll get a massive helping of said ecosystem when you install everything at once to get your ten effects of choice.
The Clipper, Multi-Band Limiter, and De-Esser fill the gaps for the other dynamics processing. These are all handy utilities, and the clipper is quick to dial in. The De-Esser does just fine and can be faster than dialing in your multi-band compressor or dynamic EQ of choice for eliminating sibilances.
Classic EQ is probably the most mundane of the included effects. It isn’t a poor EQ, but your DAW’s stock EQ is probably more fully realized than this one.
T-RackS 5 SE is rounded out by Tape Echo and CSR Room Reverb.
Tape Echo has a certain grungy character that excels on guitars and vocals. The bits of modulation present help round out the sound. CSR Room Reverb is an early effort by the folks at Relab and is home to that characteristic Lexicon sound Relab has been honing over the last decade.
T-RackS 5 SE is a solid collection, though one mired with questionable decisions. After installation, you’ll likely have to hunt through your plugin folder to remove the entire T-RackS plugin collection, aside from the 10 included in SE. It is a hassle, but the collection itself is fairly useful, and I find myself reaching for certain pieces quite often.
T-RackS 5 SE is available for Windows and Mac computers. Available plugin formats include VST, VST3, AAX, and AU. There are Apple Silicon and Intel binaries available for Mac users.

onIk Multimedia are criminally underrated. I have about 30 of their plugins and yeah, they might not be Fabfilter because the former goes mostly after classic emulations. But throw one before a spectrum analyzer or into Plugin Doctor, and you’ll see how they add rich harmonics to your signal just by slapping the plugin into your track! The Bus Compressor and their Distressor emulation are excellent tools that I couldn’t live without.

onAs a Owner of Total Studio 3.5 Max i can say i like the T-Racks VSTs a lot because they are mostly low on CPU,easy to use,scalable and so on.
But i recommend getting the MAX Version (on sale for 99,direct at IK) so you are eligible for the TS 3.5 MAX Upgrade for 99. In case you later want to buy Amplitube 5 Max or other Plugins form them you save much money.
I even can recommend the whole TS 3.5 MAX (mostly all of their plugins except a few) at 199 (or for any existing IK MAX License as upgrade for 99).
Just checkout whats included and decide what you need. They also have a Sale every month with changing licenses

onTheir installation routine is why I have so few of their plugins. I had full versions of their stuff – still use their Sampler – but it’s impossible to install one plugin without spending your life cleaning up. NI has better plugins as does Studio One, and outside of them I just buy the best tool for my needs, usually from indie developers who need my cash more IMHO. Oh, and who don’t annoy the living heck out of me. It still amazes me that the rock app is still haven’t learnt this simple lesson: do not annoy your customers.
