There aren’t many good 1975 Gibson SG samples available out there. I decided to buy it to-day and it sounds amazing! And of course it would be great to be able to load my own samples in future updates.

You can’t load your own samples now, but it’s already announced as the first major feature to be added. Supposed to be there Q1 2022 (which, let’s be honest, probably means May or June). There’s also a full Editor which will be available some day, and you can get it now if you’re a library developer and submit an application to them.
