  1. 2024 goal with my band ChUPACONChA back after a 5 years hiatus: to record 1 session every wee, release 1 video per week, 1 ep/album every 1-2 months, get back playing for the love of it! :-)

      • Hi there ! My music goal for 2024 is to have lot of fun at make music with my buddy and of course test (and buy ) many stuff to find new workflow and new sound.
Just have fun and make earcandy :)
        Peace.

      • My goals for 2024 is to create more music and to have fun while doing so been in a creative slump for some time but have been gradually getting out of it.

      • My goal is to record a few songs really quickly, with a few instruments, in a very minimalist environment and a very limited number of tracks and effects.

    • My goal for 2024 is to go back to a couple of projects I left behind during COVID and finished them up. I had a family member pass before I got to finish these and I’ve healed a lot to pick up where I left off

    • Goal for music production in 2024 for my solo project and live band Gabe Guthrie & the Galactic Ghouls is to bridge the gap between ppl who attend my shows, and ppl who stream my music on spotify etc. Use releases to reach a more localized audience and get more tickets sold to shows.

    • My goal is to produce my first beat. I wrote a few songs. Now it’s time to get the beat done. The singing is the scariest part of it all! lol

I plan to compose and record at least one new song a month, hopefully with the help of all this equipment, if I’m one of the winners.

  3. My goal for 2024 is to release a track that brings a smile to the face of about 1000 people (or more). A song that gets replayed a second time 100 people (or more). And 1 song that makes my family proud.

    Cheers for 2024!

My goal for 2024 is to finish some old classic dub techno tracks that are almost done and post on babdcamp.
      Regards
      Happy 2024 to all

  4. I’m releasing a 4-song concept EP in Spring 2024, which will be my first project release outside of some demo tracks. I’m also hoping to start producing a soundtrack that will tie in with a podcast project. That might come out late 2024, though.

    • I hope to be able to mix a song from start to finish within a month’s time. I’ve been learning each process as I’ve been mixing this current track I’m working on…and that’s been over a year.

  5. Stefan Silversten

Write, record, produce ond release an EP of modern spiritual music. Choose a limited set of plugins to work with and learn, instead of constantly testing new ones (So I probably shouldn’t enter this giveaway after all…).

  6. Wayne Heimbach

    on

I plan to develop a poetry/music combination development that will add a new area for expression and cooperation. This can be used for both long and short form poetry and allow poets to produce for their web sites and YouTube.

  7. My 2024 goal is to build the perfect low-cost Linux based studio on a cheap Thinkpad and share my findings with the community so they can do the same.

  8. Danish Ali Azhar

    on

My goal for 2024 is to explore more genres of electronic music and make songs centered around them and add my own twist to all of them. Also to just learn to have fun with making music and post more of it online whether that’s YouTube or Spotify regardless if one person hears it or a thousand.

My goal for 2024 is to finish some old classic dub techno tracks that are almost done and post on babdcamp.

    Happy 2024 to all

  10. My goal for 2024 is to FINISH some old projects and record a lot more vocals on old and new projects instead of procrastinating 🙄

  11. My goal is to figure out why the people who listen to my stuff on BeatStars hate all the tracks that the people who listen to them on SoundCloud love.

  12. My 2023 production goals include simplifying the process of making music, in order to have fun again, and then becoming a dj again to be able to test out how songs match each other so well

  13. My music production goal for 2024 is the same as my music production goal for 2023: continue to create music and improve my music production skills in the process.

  14. My goal for 2024 is to release 3-5 songs Iv been working on. I want to also add acouple hours of production or learning each week.

  15. 2024 Goals are:
    Write new songs every week
Master those songs using new tools and techniques
Release a Sample Pack for this Community

  16. What is your music production goal for 2024:

Finish some music projects I still have to complete and hopefully start more music projects

  17. What are my music production goals for 2024?

In 2024, I hope to really progress in the DJ world and start bridging the gap to producing. I took up DJing because I wanted to experiment with remixing the songs I love, but I’ve been building my plugin and sample collection and have started beginning to learn the basics of DAWs. 2024 is going to be the year when I finally progress from smaller remixes, using fades, effects, and the like, to larger remixes, where I start fully taking apart and rebuilding songs the way I imagine them in a proper DAW. I might even create my own songs if I have an idea that really sparks my imagination.

  18. My goal for 2024 is to get comfortable being uncomfortable. I want to produce new genres that i’m not use to, experiment with foreign techniques, and find inspiration in new places.

  19. Get some Placements with the plug-ins I got and soundkits I got this year for 2024 while getting my dj servi eoff the first
    Ground again.

  20. My goal is to finish my first song together with the bois and upload it for the first time with a fully animated music video to show what we are capable of. There are also other projects on the way because I want to try, experiment and further increase my repertoire of genres.

  21. My goal for this year is to develop my skills in every direction I already go: electronic dance music, symphonic compositions, metal productions and others.

  22. Hey there Data here,

My goal for 2024 is to get Motivated to express and show my present again. As a Producer, Artist and Technician.

The Last many many years spent with my mental and physical health recovery, and I’m aiming for a new fitting job and feel happy doing it every day, and also with a new apartment, I want to finally start building my (first) own Homestudio in my middle-aged.
So I’m saving like everything I get and spending it on my passionate hobby.

Hoping to Win and use the Gear in a daily base program to create Content and Free Stuff.

I wish everyone Good Luck as well, being active is the hardest part.

    • Sorry, discovered I have posted a Comment already. I didn’t know about the “Older Comments”.

Maybe this is more written out but basically the same.

    • Hi Tom,

Thanks for this wonderful opportunity. My music production goal for 2024 has already started. I’ve made a timetable to work harder on my rough mixes, practice my musical instruments and educate myself on methods of mixing and mastering, All this while not forgetting to keep cool and dedicate some time for family.

Wishing everyone the best for 2024.

      Cheers,
      Rex

  23. My music production goal for 2024 is to build a sound library to support the short movie stories that I wish to produce.

  24. Richard Bergman

    on

Hi Tomislav & the BPB crew.

My goal is to go from Reason 10, Studio One 4 Professional and Windows 10 to complete mastery of Reaper 7 and Linux, and also create my own custom theme for Reaper 7 with my own (non-AI-generated) artwork. I also want to exclusively support the music software and hardware brands that support Linux and DRM-free software, and in the process slowly but steadily move away from all of my paid plugins with DRM from companies with constant EULA revisions, forced telemetry and always/regular online activations with CPU intensive and power consuming background processes that runs in my OS, and also means a higher electric bill
    .
In the long run I only want to use freeware, donationware and paid plugins that doesn’t use DRM that requires online activation, or at least with the option for a one-time offline activation method, or preferably plugins that use no DRM at all.

I also want to design both my own physical EPs, and later album, cover and booklet with a classic jewel case with my own artwork in order to get the full nostalgic experience like the ones I remember from my childhood and teenage years before the steadily growing digitalization of every music, movie, game and book mediums in the mainstream.

Anyway that’s my 2024 goal, and good luck to all of the participants of the giveaway, and thanks for a great and highly informative music software website, and the great BPB plugins!

    Best regards
    Richard

  25. Mi objetivo de producción musical para 2024 es grabar mis primeras canciones y espero que sea con el software que me voy a ganar en el sorteo del Black Friday de Bedroom Producers Blog.

My 2024 goal is to release 4 EPs under my project Darkest of Winter and the three part concept album under my other project Rome Apart.

  27. Release one song (which will lead to a chain of releases), Collaborate with artists of various fine arts fields, and win a music production giveaway

  28. My goal is to carelessly, without overthinking, put some fun tunes down and experiment to find ways to craft the sounds I wish, with the tools I have. Also, I hope to reach a sufficient understanding of music production since I am a beginner and let my music theory knowledge grow and evolve.

  29. My 2024 goal is to shift gears entirely. I have been making retro-style electropop for years, but I’m not feeling that vibe as much anymore. I’m starting work on a new project that’s much more synth-oriented psychedelic prog-rock. Slower-tempo mood music to enjoy on THC and psilocybin.

  30. honestly the goal for 2024 is be more consistent in sound and in release

most likely wont get far with it, but at least an album or two for sure.

  31. Chainsaw Curtis

My goal is to get my current band of old farts together in my home studio to work on new material that I wrote during the pandemic. I call it “Coronamericana.” Feel free to use that as a genre for when you’re home with the virus in your own home studio.

  32. My plans include recording original projects and covers using different plugins in each project from the entire collection I acquired this year, many with the help of BPB!

  33. Actually, my goal for 2024 is to produce an EP using only Akai’s S950, S1100, Cubase ATARI (yeah baby!), few old FX and mix it on a Soundcraft Delta.

  34. Main music goal in 2024 is to make the time available for a little work everyday. Jobs, family and other necessities take up my hours, so allowing myself to be selfish for one hour a day when possible.

  35. My goal for 2024 is to finish the music production school that I am attending and produce my first EP, recording live my drums and using mostly found sounds.

  36. One of my biggest goals for 2024 is to launch myself as a singer with my own songs produced in my studio as much as possible and continue helping other emerging artists, good luck to everyone!!

  37. Finish for good my first song!

    It’s the 4th time in 15 years I attempt to become a composer/producer!
And all I have are tons of sketches, and then life got in the way and I had to give up my dream…until the next attempt!

  38. Johnathan Davis

    on

My goals for 2024 are to release 24 singles to streaming, land at least 2 sync placements, release an album on vinyl, & do more production work on artists other than myself. Oh and maybe this year I will try to learn Ableton but I doubt it, lol.

  39. My goal is to master the nuances of mixing and mastering tracks, seeking comprehensive knowledge in the art and science of music production!

  40. Music production goal for 2024….
Well miinnneeee is to spend the next 365 days in front of my DAW or as I call it my digital psychologist and get some much needed musical therapy as everything else in this mad world is mental 🤪

  41. DrumBeatsLouder

    on

My 2024 is set up a few ways to achieve my goals:
    – to consolidate my lifelong career as a musician, drummer/percussionist, guitarist, keyboardist, DJ– utilizing my skills and talents, along with field-recording new sounds/samples of everyday sonic occurrences to listening/capturing music and audio from various cultures as I encounter them throughout the world… in doing so, independently produce and release two 3-4 track EPs…
    – meet, network with, discuss/ask/offer/help/give back to as many artists who exhibit a talent that I’m able to, find the right people who are going to be essential to my success, align expectations & schedules in doing a remix for other ambitious producers & artists (not to exceed 3-4 throughout the year).
    – to have some tunes making the rounds & garnering positive feedback by my 43rd birthday in July.

  42. My goal is to overcome the severe anxiety disorder I’m experiencing so that I can make music. I finally made some of the classics I wrote throughout my life. There’s one more I want to put together and I want to make a second album with my best songwriters songs. I want to fill the 80 minute slot up. Something that will startle the world around me. – real hit songs. Linktr.ee/TheRealBlessedOne

  43. My goal in 2024 is to finish building the studio that will accommodate a sound I have been working towards for the past 5 years.

I was part of a production duo and I’m now flying solo, hoping to reprise older Ideas while working on new projects I have planned out.

  44. To finally learm some of the techniques I’ve neglected over the years; musical use of side chains, parallel comp, the art of the transition and the break. To record some music freeform, like I did before DAWs with their 4/4 120bpm default.

  45. 2024 I want to completely dissovle more often in hour long jams without any reasonable endproducts just for the fun of the process

  46. Looking forward to finishing up all prior projects not so that I can get started on an album of only brand new music in 2024.

  47. 2024 goal: release my album I recorded in 2012-2013, laid down vocals in 2020-2021. Needs deverb on vocals & mastering. 95% done but has been on hiatus

  48. To complete the environmental music/cut scene music/effects required for my son’s video game that he has designed and is developing.

  49. Robbie aka Auxbeatz

    on

I don’t if I posted a comment but I’ll do it again. My goal for 2024 is to finish all projects I have sitting on my HD as well as finally investing in learning how to properly promote my music with content to gain new listeners.. finger crossed and thanks so much to this website for always having the best tools to help us become better musicians everyday.. a lot of owe BPB a thousand thank you’s lol

  50. My musical goals for 2024, are to keep evolving. After completing my first album, for which I worked on for two years, without having any musical education, and being partially hear impaired. I am already lining up my future musical projects, and there is no stopping me now, because I do it mostly because it brings me joy and is another creative outlet for my bursting brainwaves.

  51. Hi!
My goal for 2024 is to release an album I have been working on, and to possibly do some kind of a collaborative project. Finding time for personal things is the hard part.

  52. I’ve got to get my s@!t together and start producing. I need to set aside some time and stay on schedule to make that happen.

  53. My goals for 2024 are many. But my primary goals are to 1) upgrade my laptop since my primary one took a dirt nap and the backup I’m using now isn’t designed for this kind of work, 2) upgrade studio monitors since my old ones are just about ready to take a dirt nap of their own, 3) cut my production time in half, 4) have at least one public release of my personal work, and 5) increase my clientel.

  54. For 2024 I want to produce and release more music and finish some old projects which I postpone for years working on others instead.

  55. My goal for 2024 is to learn how to sound design and learn how to play the piano so I can have a better understanding of music theory. Good luck to everyone.

  56. My 2024 Music production goal is to release a long-planned radio theatre podcast that uses my electronic music compositions as intros, outros and interstitials!

  57. To learn to write, arrange, and produce other genres I like but am not yet that familiar with. Learning in music is pure love.

  58. My 2024 music production goal is to get better at mixing my music and improving my technical understanding of sound design and synthesis. I’m very excited for 2024 as I have the opportunity to create music/sound for a podcast and for a new animation.

  59. If I set a goal, I may not be able to go any further, but I would like to at least release a few albums and distribute my sound library as a way point.

  60. Ernesto Du Solier

    on

My 2024 music production goal is to complete a re-recording of an instrumental solo album I composed 20 years ago in MPT. I want to upgrade basically all the sounds and change many parts to actual instruments instead of samples, specially the guitars.

  61. Since I am not a professional musician, but just a truck driver, writing my songs is a hobby, I record all the songs in the cab of a truck, but my goal is to get closer to a professional sound and so that my songs can be heard by truck drivers all over the world.

  62. My goal is definitely to release my band’s second album and complete the music videos for it in a timely manner, haha.

  63. Reginald Wilson

    on

My music production goal for 2024 is to complete 3-4 songs and release them. I also hope to start a podcast and that be my platform to release. My goal isn’t to make it big but more so to help someone through the music that I make.

  64. My goal is to make a one complete song. I’ve always made sections of the songs, but never made full version of it. (I had a busy life though) But next year is different. I’m planning a full song’s structure already and planning about it. I’m really going to make just one song.

  65. Music production goal for 2024….

Actually finish at least some of my projects. i’m fairly new in music production and not so experienced so sometimes if i’m stuck in my project i kinda put it aside and focus another one.

  66. My goal in 2024 is to go from bedroom producer/songwriter to make it big…out in the real world…
Or realistically… to at least be able to support myself with my music.
    Dream on!

  67. My goal is to finally land my techniques into a signature sound, and to be recognized for almost every remix and collab that I produce, alongside with my livesets.

  68. Yup, okay. I have 1 big music related goal for 2024. I currently have 0 paying fans. My goal is 2000 paying fans of my music by December, 2025.

  69. Creating a concept EP in 2024 sounds like a fascinating project. The idea would be to craft a short, cohesive collection of songs that tells a story or explores a particular theme. This EP would be more than just a set of tracks; it would be a carefully curated musical journey.

I’d focus on a specific concept that is meaningful and engaging, possibly something that resonates with current social or personal themes. The music would be designed to evoke emotions and thoughts related to this concept, creating a profound listening experience.

The EP would ideally blend various musical elements to make each track distinctive yet cohesive with the overall theme. I’d also consider incorporating innovative production techniques or unusual sounds to give the EP a unique character.

Collaboration could be a key aspect, perhaps with vocalists, lyricists, or instrumentalists who can add depth and diversity to the project. The goal would be to create an EP that’s not only artistically satisfying but also resonates with listeners on multiple levels.

  70. Frank Labuschagne

    on

My goal is to introduce novel customizable virtual MIDI interfaces from cheap common hardware, spectral component based generative synthesis along with “agent” based usage of evolving instruments…and getting a nice fretless chapman stick sort of thing (coz metal).

  71. Out 2024 Band goal is to release a full length album from the best songs from our latest 3 eps. We make electronic music that is progressive kindof like bjork or tool. We construct our music in abelton, play with it live, then turn around and record it like it was a live show. We’ve already played live and you can see what I mean if you check us out on spotify. Thanks for the opp!

  72. My goal for 2024 is to be able to organize in my tasks, learn more about piano and music theory. increase the loyalty of my followers and create much more content throughout the year in a fluid manner.

  73. Now that I’m getting a decent CPU (and GPU,) I can finally work through projects without an unintentional lossy taking over the session. My music production goal for 2024 is to finish tracks uninterrupted and put them out. To do that, I will first run through a few workflows I learned about, figure out which works best for my tastes and stick to it.

  74. Making music is a hobby aside from my full-time job and raising three kids. My goal is modest, record, mix and release one new song in 2024 (but I’d love to do more). 75. My music production goal for 2024 is to get better at sampling and improve my drum grooves and get more creative with them

  76. My goal for 2024 is to drop a few songs people could dance to with positive vibes and positive messages!
