Soundware Deals

• Loopmasters are offering a free FL Studio template featuring the sounds from the Salaryman – Drum & Bass Pulse Vol 3 sample collection. The company is also running a 50% OFF deal on select FX sound libraries.
• VSTBuzz is running an insane 88% OFF deal on Samplephonic and Noiiz products.
• Audio Plugin Deals is offering 80% OFF BOOM Library Sound FX Cinematic Bundle.

Free Samples & Loops

• Seaweed factory has announced the release of a free Yamaha PS-35 Sample Pack containing 12 multi-sampled presets from this old toy keyboard. Every note was sampled on each preset. The interesting thing about the PS-35 is that it is an FM-based keyboard with an analog chorus.
• Beat Drop has introduced Rumble Pack, an awesome Nintendo 64 sound pack for Ableton Push. Also available is the free Grime Pack featuring Roland TR-8 and MC-505 drum samples processed with the vintage Scully 280 mic preamp.
• Ghosthack’s latest freebie is Free Dubstep Basslines, a free collection of bass-heavy loops in WAV format.
• Rekkerd and Outro have released Vinyl Cuts, a free collection of drum and percussion samples that were pressed on vinyl at Montreal’s Le Lab Mastering facility and then digitally re-sampled.
• AfroDJMac has released Tuned Kick Drums Ableton Live pack, a useful free tool for Live users who want their kicks to match the song’s key. Make sure to check out ADM’s free Yamaha DD-8 for Ableton Live as well! Also, 99Sounds is offering a free tuned kick drum instrument for NI Kontakt.
• Paree Katti has released Free Foley Samples Vol 1, a free collection of foley sounds converted into drum and percussion sounds. The pack contains 205 samples in total, along with Grooove BPB kits.
• Performance Samples has released Solo Violin Legato, an excellent free solo violin sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt (full version required). Unfortunately, you will need to install the Continuata download manager first in order to download the free library, even though it’s a relatively small file (less than 200 MB in size).
• Splice Sounds is offering Free Live Drum Loops by W. A. Production. It is a collection of drum loops for use in electronic dance music.
• Production Voices has introduced Estate Grand LE, a free grand piano sample library for the sforzando virtual instrument by Plogue. Even though it will work in any SFZ-compatible instrument, the instrument features a custom user interface which is only avaialble in sforzando. The same company has also released Death Piano LE, a donationware piano instrument for NI Kontakt (free checkout available).
• Samples From Mars is offering Free 101 Drums From Mars, a free collection of 60 drum samples made with the Roland SH-101 analog synthesizer. Please note that a valid email address is required to download the samples.
• Phil Michalski’s free Sci-Fi Mechanics Mini is a freely downloadable set of SFX sounds from the full version of the product.
• R-Loops has introduced Free Hip-Hop Vinyl Samples (Sound Kits), a free hip-hop sample library.
• Smokey Loops has released Handpan Kontakt Free, which is a free handpan sound pack for NI Kontakt as the title suggests.
• Sample Magic has released 100 Free Vocal Samples. The title says it all.
• Function Loops has introduced Free Vocals 2017. More free vocals, yay!
• Creatived Sounds has introduced Vocal Shout, an interesting set of vocal glitches and cuts in WAV format.
• Touch Loops has added the Astral FX sample pack to their Free Samples page. Loads of other free stuff to be found there as well.
• SoundShock has released six free sample packs for EDM production. You will need to enter your name and email address to access the download page, though.
• 123creative is offering Event Horizon – Loops, a free loop collection containing 50 sequences made with the Dune 2 synthesizer. All loops are provided in 24-bit WAV format.
• Uhlectronic has released Casio Drums SA-21, a miniature set of drum hits sampled from a Casio toy keyboard.
• MethLab has released #DATBASSTHO, a free collection of brutal bass sounds for use in electro and dubstep. These were probably made while Jesse was waiting for Walt to return to the RV.

Premium Sound Banks

• The FXB Project has released the NITRO ($9) sound bank for Sugar Bytes Unique.
• ELPHNT has announced the release of the ANLG ($15) preset pack for Ableton Live. Even if you don’t use Live, make sure to visit the ANLG product page to check out the artwork because it looks epic.

Free Sound Banks

• The Unfinished has launched Tyrell N6 Kuu Quu, a must-have vintage preset bank for Tyrell N6 users. Also available for free download are taster packs from The Unfinished’s new Phenom Vol 1 and Phenom Vol 2 sound banks for U-He DIVA.
• Greynote Music has introduced the VASP Sound Pack I sound pack for the free VASP rompler instrument.
• Status has released Analog FREEgures, a free collection of 110 analog-inspired presets for the LittleOne v3 virtual synthesizer by Xhun Audio.
• Heart of Noise has released the free Pop Stars Vol. 1 vocal sound bank for the GalaXynth virtual synthesizer.
• Blortbort has announced the release of Number Stations, a free sound bank for Audo Damage Ronin.
• Plughugger’s latest free sound bank is the SCRAM! collection for the Soundtoys Echoboy delay.
