Plugin Boutique is running a no-brainer 95% OFF deal on the Union next-generation wavetable synthesizer by SoundSpot.
Union is a virtual wavetable synthesizer in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for compatible digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. The instrument is normally priced at $156 but you can get it for just $8.14 via Plugin Boutique. The 95% OFF deal ends on January 1st, 2020.

The wavetable generator module can be used to create harmonically rich wavetables with a single click. The generated wavetable can be assigned to either one of Union’s two oscillators. The plugin also features independent filters per oscillator and a powerful 96-voice unison engine.
In addition to the wavetable generator, Union features six classic analog-style oscillator waveshapes with spectral anti-aliasing. The raw oscillator sound can be processed using a range of built-in effects. The effects can also be applied as a fully customizable mastering chain right before the synthesizer’s audio output.
If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to a flagship wavetable synthesizer like Serum, chances are that Union could be worth looking into. This is especially true during the special offer period. To better understand the synthesizer’s workflow and features, check out the demo video embedded below.
To help new users get started with the plugin, SoundSpot has included a set of 300 patches that are easily accessible via Union’s preset manager. If you purchase Union until the end of October, you will receive the Loopcloud+ Bundle as a free add-on.
Have you tested SoundSpot Union yet? Do you like its features and sound quality? How does it perform overall? Let us know in the comments section below.

onHello Tomislav,
I own ableton live 10 suite, and was wondering what all should I look into from your site. I’m definitely looking to add Some classical, tribal, trap, and rock drum beats. VST I guess. I’m great at writing melodies and Laying down effects. However I’m a beginner and terrible at lain down drum beats from scratch. Any healthy and helpful suggestions?

onAre you looking for pre-made loops and beats that you could add to your project? Or something like a drum sequencer with one-shot samples that you could use to make drum loops and beats from scratch? Also, what’s the budget? Free, cheap, or a single piece of more expensive software?

onHave you tried playbeat yet? Pretty much sums up your request:

onAnyone put this thing through its paces? I’m always on the fence with these guys–sometimes their stuff’s super-useful, and sometimes…

onI’ve tested the demo. It’s a nice synth, sure, but that all it is. The modulation is creative and quite extensive, but there is no modulation between oscillators. There are only 6 waveforms available and you can’t add more yourself. The good side of this plugin is the effects, which pretty much don’t need any more post-processing (the reverb is quite bad though). Good plugin, but doesn’t deserve more than $10. I got Hybrid 3 last Black Friday for $1 and it’s certainly much better than this

onThanks for sharing your thoughts! Nice synth for the price (during the 95% OFF deal).

onI can’t agree with that assessment. I find Union infinitely more useful than Air. Union is not the easiest synth to work with, way to many windows to open ad close, but it has a really distinctive, gritty character to it and I find it slots into mixes very well, with a minimum of effort. OTOH, I have never found any use for Air. There is nothing special about it and I have a dozen other plugins that can do a better job.
Union’s biggest restriction is the lack of cross-modulation between the oscillators but, whilst that does restrict its versatility, it is capable of doing some things better than anything else in my VSTi folder.
