Berzerk features ten original distortion algorithms for creative sound design. The interface provides direct access to control parameters like advanced feedback, pitch, dynamics, sidechaining, and M/S adjustments. The Temperature knob is used as a a macro control to set overall amount of coloration and saturation that is applied to the signal. Use the Berzerk button to randomize the controls and see what kind of crazy distortion sound you’ll get from the plugin. The plugin also supports internal and external sidechaining.
To help new users get started with the plugin, Berzerk comes with a set of presets designed by Grammy-winning mixing engineers Lu Diaz, Dave Pensado, and others. Berzerk is compatible with all VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin hosts on PC and Mac.

onActually, it’s still possible to install on earlier Win systems. You simply need to push continue, instead of abort. I just installed it on Win 7.

onThe plugin is good…but their new Installer removed my previously installed Super Tap Free, and it’s not available in My Products downloads. And yes installation is very long – Syncing 67% …

onBerzerk is still free to download, web page now says free during Black Friday “weekend”. I had pre-signed up to get it but I only got an email after signing up again on Black Friday and it took about 5 hours to arrive.
Fun fact, I’ve looked forward the annual free plugin Waves gives away on Black Friday for the past few years, and I’ve only recall seeing one smooth execution. I think they just always underestimate demand, but still cool they give away a free goodie.
I’ve always received my code eventually but I also always screenshot the confirmation page just in case I ever have to show support I did register in time to receive it.
