I am here a bit late but I just discovered this plugin (app) now and I have to say that it’s simply amazing what these guys did.
When you think that Izotope RX 10 is more than 300$ and this is free….wow..It does the job perfectly by the way.
Just blown away honestly.

I tested on a couple of songs, both “instrumental only” and “vocals only”. It might not be 100% perfect, but dang… almost neat!!

This is the best algorithm for this function. Its big advantage over competitors is that it can handle several other plugins.

In reply to Erno Stieffler. Easy! Just do a null test. Remove the vocals and bounce it, and then bring it back into your Daw along with the original(with the vocals) and then invert the phase of one of them, and now you'll have only the vocals.

UVR is not only limited to MDX. You can also use Demucs and other algorithms. For an experience slightly better than you’d get with Spleeter, use Demucs4 Hybrid.
