How i did it which works:
Copy & paste the Urban Puncher serial number (from Pluginboutique account) to textedit or notepad and save it.
Then go to United Plugins website / my account / my licences / click redeem licence / paste your serial number (from pluginboutique) and click submit / then download the licence.
Once you get your licence, store it where you want to keep it forever eg:
Documents / United Plugins folder.
Open your DAW, open the plug-in, then locate the Urban Puncher licence file & drag & drop the licence file onto the plug-in’s GUI / restart your DAW & enjoy.

Well, first of all – the T-Puncher consumes like 30 per cent of my CPU in just one instance. While the Urban Puncher consumes virtually zero CPU no matter how I crank the knobs!
(just tested both on my AMD machine with Presonus Studio One 5 Artist)
Another difference is, while T-Puncher sounds “transparent” and only works on the attacks, the Urban Puncher definitely adds a lot of saturation color – which may be desired or not, so it depends.

onWell, yes, as suggested in the article, you would need to add a saturator after TPuncher.
I tried this “Urban Puncher” and was underwhelmed to be honest…
When I want to add “punch” to my drums, I really mean it. Even cranked to the max, the effect here is subtle. Could be a good thing for beginners to avoid ruining their drums.
But I’ll stick to my Slam2 or Parallel Agressor :)

onUrban Puncher is definitely not what I expected. The very obvious mid-range boost is not what I would add to increase the punch of my drums. I tried it 3 times and each time it was a disappointment. Even with only the saturation knob at 50 % I can hear boosted mids.
