Oleg Mikheev (aka graywolf2004) has released a beta version of BlueARP, a forthcoming freeware arpeggiator/sequencer in VST plugin format for Windows.
BlueARP is a VST MIDI Arpeggiator with Matrix editor. The goal is to create an ultimate tool for real-time electronic music performances.
BlueARP is available for free download via KVR Forums (229kB download size, 32-bit VST plugin for Windows). The current v1.1 release is a beta version. It seems that BlueArp will remail freeware even after the official release.
My favorite arpeggiator until now has been Kirnu by Arto Vaarala. Judging by the BlueARP demo video (embedded below), it seems that Kirnu has got some serious competition now!
I can’t wait to put it to test and see how it performs on my machine. Please don’t crash on me, BlueARP (fingers crossed)!
