Hello! I like Dexed, but there’s sooo many banks and presets of it, that i’m pretty lost. Can you say what’s your’s favorite Dexed preset sounds? Just for fun.

It took me a while to find the right link to download the actual VST from – Here’s the link to the website where you can download the Dexed VST for Mac & PC.

Click on one of the folder icons (Mac or PC) underneath the website banner that says:

dexed
FM multi plaform/multi format plugin, version 0.9.0

I deleted the 64 bit version as Reaper reported an error in it.

Now here’s a weird thing. I downloaded the original “sysex” file of voicesand then I go to load a file from that folder say “keys.syx”. The name “METALBAND” comes up in the interface so like it recognises the name of the file. If you then drop down there are various other file names, but if I try to select from the dropdown list I always get “ARP2600” for some reason. All Cart seems to do is bring up 32 banks and if you select a bank you get the first file in that bank but if I try to select another it goes to ARP 2600 again.

Hi!! Love your site and thanks for all the work you do!! How do you change the banks?? Been producing for some time but I dont see an option…..load just gives me an option to import dx syssex

In reply to Stephan. Hi Stephan, you those 32 presets are just the first bank. You'll need to change the bank in order to access the other presets.

first of all, thanks for this great sounding synth! I have a noob question. How can I browse the 1024 presets? My dropdown list only contains 32, and I honestly dont know how to select a different bank of the factory presets..

Guys, I have a problem :(
The synthesizer is definitely fine, but unfortunately there’s a bug when I open a cartridge and then presets. These presets do not open! :( It takes a “Say it again” preset by default every time… I downloaded and installed the file properly, but still have no idea why it doesn’t work. Hope someone could help me with this
